My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Heaps of deep sadness tonight. Lots of memories from last weekend. Knowing how close I was to not being here. Feeling traumatised by it all.

Re: My Mosaic

I hear you @Bow .

I hear how traumatic the experience was.

I can only begin to imagine what is going through your mind.

All I can say is that you have given yourself a chance. You are here because you are meant to be. Your talents, strengths and empathy is felt by the entire SANE community.

You have a calling in life. Now it's about finding it?

Hugs,

tyme

Thanks @tyme

I’m gonna go crawl into bed. I’m not sure how I’m going to sleep, I’m out of the additional meds the hospital psychiatrist gave me to help me sleep. I’m not sure whether it was suppose to be just for a couple of days or an ongoing thing. I see my psychiatrist on Wednesday, guess I will chat then about it.

how do people process a serious suicide attempt?

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @Bow ,

Hope you have a restful sleep. Perhaps jotting some of your thoughts down on a piece of paper before going to bed might help. I found it has helped me in the past. Once I jot them down, I sort of 'put the thought to bed' too.

I think it would be a great idea to speak to your treating team about the additional meds.

Take Care. See you around,

tyme

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Bow

I am glad you are still here and I realise how difficult this can be to process.

I have woken up in ICU and it’s very confronting especially being attached to all sorts of machines. I hope you are able to work through all of this with your treating team.

One step at a time hon 💜💜💜💜💜

Trigger Warning: hospital experience

Thank you @Eve7

I don’t even know where to start with it all to be honest. I was out for an early morning walk today and I remembered that I had my wrist in restraints in ICU. I understand why, they explained that to me, but it just all feels wrong

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow it’s okay to feel traumatised. You’ve been through a lot lately. I hope talking to your treatment team helps you heal. And we are always here for you ❤️.

Re: My Mosaic

Hope everyone survived the long weekend and enjoyed their Easter as much as they could.

we had family over yesterday for lunch, which was nice, but I had had it by the time they left.

long weekends always throw me out. I never know what day it is and throws my routine out… and even more so the school holidays.

i have my mum anticipated appointment with my psychologist today. Was suppose to be this morning but she asked to change it til the afternoon. Even that threw me. I guess I don’t cope with change well?

Re: My Mosaic

My psychologist just cancelled on me. Sick kid, I get it. But beyond devastated. Waiting in the chemist line and I burst into tears.
