Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Oh yes, the inner critic @Former-Member . My psychologist talks a lot about that in me. She’s pretty big and nasty that critic.
i went a bit too long on the mill today, but it was a slow pace and it felt good. I’m off now and looking at ways to be kind to myself now.

Re: My Mosaic

Why are nights always the hardest when I stuff up and do things that I then regret 😩

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @Bow ,

I've had that experience before. The nights were soooo challenging for me. I really had to work at it to manage my anxiety and unhelpful thought patterns in the evenings. It was as though my thoughts knew the sun was setting and they decide to have a party every night!

I was so drained by the morning which definitely doesn't help the mood.

As for tonight, if you feel the need for extra support, I'd encourage you to contact crisis services such as:

Lifeline: 13 11 14

Suicide call back service: 1300 659 467

or if in immediate danger: 000

I'll also send you a check-in email.

Take Care,

tyme

Re: My Mosaic

Scary how quickly things can change. I’ve eaten pretty good all week, thanks for covid. I’ve kept my fluids up too. The usual lightheadedness that it’s a normal part of my day also disappeared with the better intake. Yesterday I didn’t drink quiet as much.
I’ve been on the treadmill and mowed the front and back lawns and I’m feeling it now. Lightheadedness has very quickly returned. I’m a bit scared. I don’t feel good.

Re: My Mosaic

That sounds awful to be having lightheadedness again, @Bow do go gently, sitting with you ❤️

Are you ok @Bow?

Re: My Mosaic

@Anastasia I ended up in the emergency department yesterday afternoon. The lightheadedness didn’t get any better and whenever I went to get up I felt like I was going to pass out.

thankfully had a bed, but waited 7hrs to see a dr. Given some fluids and now they want to send me home. Only problem is they don’t know how to get me home. My mum doesn’t drive and they can’t send me home in a cab cause I have covid.

I’ve now just been dumped in a room on a chair cause they want my bed. There is nothing else in this room, just me and the chair. Just another form of isolation and abandonment. I haven’t slept. I want to cry. Think I will get up and walk home.

Re: My Mosaic

Thank you @NatureLover @Anastasia I’m home.

i pulled my own cannula out and made a mess everywhere 😩 and was about to leg it home when a nurse came and told me that transport would be here soon to take my home. It was over an hours wait, but I’m thankful for not having to walk home in the rain.

had a run in with a really rude nurse, barking orders at me to put my mask on properly. She left and I cried. Having covid in the hospital is really like having the plague. They don’t come near you unless they are going to do something.

im going to go collapse into bed shortly. What a truely shitty night. 💔
