Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

@Bow

Hopefully that’s less stressful than a phone call 💛

Re: My Mosaic

Glad the market was cancelled @Bow especially since your mum wouldn't be there and you would have to do everything. Big sigh of relief.

Maybe a reply to her text might be a good idea. That way you don't have to talk to her.

Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie I hope your psych appointment was helpful in some way. And that your mum was in a good mood for you.

I found out this morning that a lovely older lady from church passed away. She had dementia hit her very suddenly and very quickly, I actually think it happened after she had a case of covid. It was very severe for her and she had to go into care as she was putting the family at risk at home. She ended up having a brain bleed. It really affects people so differently.

do you have much on this weekend? Suppose to be rather wet here.

Re: My Mosaic

@Wintersweet I actually do find writing very helpful. I struggle a lot with spoken words for many reasons. But I appreciate the time I can have when I am writing to sorta find the right words, I guess connect some of the dots. I don’t like the pressure there is when speaking. And I hate lengthy periods of silence when I’m trying to sort stuff out in my head and put words to it. I try to explain this to people that work with me and some get it and accept it and others don’t. I’ve been doing Telehealth with my dietitian for a couple of years now and I shared that with her and she was totally ok with it, said I could email an update prior and also pointed out a chat feature in the video program. If only everyone was as understanding as she is.

but yes, I like to write. It’s helpful. There use to be people on here that were really good at helping me with that process.

im really sorry that your having a rough time of it. I can only imagine how frustrating it is not being able to do the things that you usually can. Are there things that usually help? Was your psych able to make any helpful suggestions?

@Bow

Writing can be really helpful, can’t it! I’m glad your dietician is so helpful. The chat function on the telehealth appointment is such a good idea! I’m sorry that there are others that don’t get it though.

Do you remember any of the things that people on the Forums did that helped you process through writing?

I’m really sorry to hear about the lady who passed away. That’s really sad.

Thanks for your kind response about work 💛 Last year I hit a few of these periods and then have to take a few days off, but this time it seems to be sticking around. I’ve had periods before when it’s lasted longer, and I’m really hoping I don’t get stuck here for a long time this time. My psych did have some suggestions, but unfortunately nothing is an easy fix. My manager isn’t in tomorrow so I’ll talk to him on Monday about time off.

Morning @Bow

I'm sorry to hear about the lady from your church. It does affect people very differently.

I've not much on for this weekend. Meant to be very wet here too. It has rained all night and is very wet outside.

I hope today is a little better for you hon

Did you hear back from the manager? Sending you 💛

Re: My Mosaic

No @Wintersweet which makes me think that they don’t have any supports and she just wants to exit me. If that’s the case she can do it without my presence.

nothing from my cm

im angry. Disappointed.

oh and comm mh sent out a consumer feedback questionnaire earlier today. I filled it in.

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Bow

I'm angry for you hon that your cm hasn't contacted you. Even a phone call doesn't take up much time.

We've had over 20mm since midnight. Very much an indoor day.

Does that mean the kittens go back after desexing?
