nah not much on this weekend. D is at her father’s tomorrow. Not sure what I’ll do.

I picked up a vintage cabinet during the week. Someone had it out for council clean up. So it was free! Maybe I’ll start on that and stripe the varnish off it. I’ve decided on a colour and have ordered some wood mouldings and wallpaper from Temu.

oh and we got the dreaded email from the real estate that we have a house inspection in 2 weeks, so I’m sure mum is going to start stressing about that.

I'm sure the inspection will go ok but know your mum does stress about them. They've all gone fine so far.

Not much on. We have a birthday lunch on Sunday for one of H's Aunties. Its a 3 hour round trip so not sure we'll go. Really not up for socialising either.

I actually hadn’t heard of that case until now. I imagine it would hit pretty hard to hear about other people expressing their need for help and not being taken seriously. I’m glad your CM is listening and seems willing to advocate for you.

Working on the vintage cabinet sounds like a great plan for tomorrow and well done for making the GP appointment. Am I remembering correctly that your GP is also very supportive?

I’m actually not sure I’ll keep this piece @Snowie cause I don’t have anywhere to put it. If it’s good enough I might sell it. But speaking of Alice books, I got 4 in the post today all the way from NZ. All very well loved and old. One had like an old Sunday school gift note stuck inside the cover but it had been whited out.

im not sure if I could manage a birthday lunch either, so perfectly ok to give it a miss especially with the drive.

Ohh I love that you got some more Alice books, especially from NZ. I love when the books are old and they have things written in them.

D loves collecting old medical books. I brough one awhile ago that had some writing in the front.

I think we will give it a miss. H doesn't really want to drive all that way either.

Laying on the couch trying to have a nap but I can feel my heart racing. Feels scary and unsettling

Hey @Snowie I didn’t get my nap, my heart rate wouldn’t settle so I just got up. Ended up going and painting a board for mum- she wanted a plain white board to photograph the clothes she makes on. Needed a couple of coats of paint. Then cut some blanks up. I’ve got a big a frame to display my art at market, but needed something to put at the end of the table, so have a shelving kit, just needed to trim the wood. Then I painted a door mat. Oh and I removed the doors from the cabinet- trying to decide whether I can get away with a light sand or whether I need to use a paint stripper. I could scratch the old varnish off in places so maybe just a sand. I know that sounds a lot, but it was only a couple of hours.

what have you been up to today?

Might have only taken a couple of hours @Bow but still alot achieved.

H and I went shopping for some new work boots for him. His old one's were falling apart.

Called into the Asian Grocery shop that I like. Stocked up on some food/veggies. They have so many different types of foods that you can't get in a normal supermarket.

Home now on the couch with pj's on!
