Glad you got to see your psych. It can be hard when they challenge us. I guess they only do it because they think we can handle it. Hopefully in the long run it helps.

hope yall are ok today and got a decent nights sleep.

no SW again today. She’s down south. She asked if it would be ok if my old SW came and did a home visit. That was fine. Old SW called, spent 25 mins on the phone. She asked about my CM- the one on secondment for 3 months and said that my SW said she had left?! What the heck!?!?. I said I hadn’t heard anything. We talked what kind of supports I’d like over the next week or so and that if she has time she’ll pop in for a home visit or what no saying that my SW is only up here 1 day a week. What!?!? I was told and is supposed to be up here 3 days a week. What the heck is even going on? I hate all this uncertainty and instability. It’s not what I need.

Yes, I’ve had bad experiences with psychs challenging me in the past, I’m grateful that this one seems to be a better judge of what I’m ready for and willing to be compassionate and provide support through the process. Doesn’t make it easy but changes it from harmful to helpful.

I fully get why you’d be frustrated! That uncertainty and instability would be awful. Also, I think not being told stuff/being told one thing and then being told something else would leave anyone feeling hurt/unsettled/upset.

Sounds very frustrating @Bow to be told one thing and then something else happens.

I'm glad you got to speak to your old SW but that doesn't dismiss all that is happening in the background.

@Wintersweet I'm glad you have found a psych that can help you rather than hinder. Sometimes we just have to take a chance and hope they are the right fit for us.

Daughter just learnt a very valuable lesson @Snowie @Wintersweet @Eve7 arguing about not wanting to eat anymore veggies (wish this was the lesson!) and was swinging on the chair. I can still hear the cracking of wood as the chair collapsed beneath her! She is fine. Chair is not. Not sure if it is fixable. But if I do try and fix it maybe it will motivate me to finish of the dining set and get the chairs painted!

That would have been a fright for both of you! Glad she’s ok. Hope that the chair is fixable. What colour are you thinking of painting them?

How have your days been?

@Wintersweet this was the inspo for our dining set. Our table is the aqua colour and I have a very similar pink and mustard colour. Round extendable table and similar chairs. The chairs need a light sand and that totally puts me off!
