My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

@Snowie Funny thing…. Was watching sunrise this morning and they interviewed Robert Irwin, his partnered with some sheet company and apparently men on average only wash their sheets 4 times a year! Crazy.

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah I don’t believe she has much training @Jynx she is a psw, is very young, like red P plate young and has done cert in community welfare. the way she talks, she is very wishy washy. Just really not sure how it’s gonna work.

i lodge a thingy with hcc last week after all the issues I had with her. Not sure how long that stuff takes.

Groot really like the hammock in the end. Just hope the suction thingys stay put!

yep off to tassie. We leave the 1st, driving down, overnight in albury to break up the driving for me. Mum, D and I, and then my brother here is gonna fly down for 5 or 6 days. Will be nice to be able to spend all that time together. Mum will stay with my brother, she bought a fold up bed ages ago for when she goes down cause he just has a one bedroom unit. D and I are staying in an airb&b and so will my younger brother when he comes. Doing an overnight trip to Hobart cause my brother loves trains and has been wanting to go on the steam train down there for ages.
I may of already done some google research for some second hand bookshops/op shops along the way.

im working on the new Disney Lego Main Street. Done the fire station and Walt family apartment, fire truck and popcorn cart and then the Disney toy emporium. Got one more building to do.

ah good on you! Do you have to travel far to find a drop off point? We have heaps of bins around town, plus heaps of op shops.

Re: My Mosaic

What was for dinner tonight @Snowie? We had this ricotta and spinach cannelloni. I liked it. Mum will find out tomorrow if her and her digestive system liked it. Probably a bit rich for her though.

tomorrow not much. Just a day at home. What about you?

Re: My Mosaic

We had a pork ramen noodle meal @Bow. First time I've cooked it.

Everyone liked it so guess I will be cooking it again.

D has a few food allergies so careful what I cook.

I love ricotta and spinach, especially with pasta.

Not much on tomorrow either. Have to go to chemist but hoping thats it.

@Bow wishy washy kinda like... toxic positivity? Or like all small talk no substance kinda thing? Either way it sounds challenging for sure. I'm glad you are advocating for yourself and hope that the process doesn't take too long or become too frustrating for you 🤞

Did you lick the suction thingies first? Bit of moisture helps! 😂

Aww your trip sounds like it will be so amazing! I'm so happy for you, and that you get to spend some lovely quality time with your fam. Hope you find some special vintage goodies too! 😍

Ooh that sounds intricate! Is it big, lots of pieces?

There's a couple op shops nearby, the clothing bins are a bit further. I'm starting to wonder if they will have a limit though, like how many boxes of stuff can I bring in before they say 'No more!!' 🙃😅

Re: My Mosaic

Both @Jynx she’ll be overly positive but then next minute there is nothing. She often comes across hesitant, nervous and then backtracks. She’ll say something but then not follow through.
She’s away again today, she pretty much had a sick day every day 😩

nah didn’t lick…. Just gave the window a quick wipe down.

yeah it’s got lots of pieces… 34 bags I think. And so many spare pieces.

that’s why I often prefer to use the bins… nobody is gonna judge me for all your stuff I’m getting rid of.

Re: My Mosaic

Feeling so frustrated today. Trying to understand my head and what goes wrong on inside. How it all works. My new SW is away today. She literally has a sick day every week. Anyways, my now old SW who I liked and had a good rapport with sent me a text this morning saying my sw was away and if there was anything she could support me with. I literally could not respond. I’m so far shut down. I don’t know what to say. Felt so confused. About an hour later she sent me another text saying my sw had me down for a home visit and that she would be around at such a time. She then called when she was 10mins away.
she was all chipper as usual. But I was unable to utilize her cause I’m so shut down with my walls up so high. I feel angry with the whole situation, with myself.
I’m so super anxious about my psychologist appointment in the morning. I’ve missed 3 weeks… 2 cause I was sick and then I called the next week to let him know I was well again and ready t see him the following day, but no. He couldn’t see me. It’s the second time tjat he has done that. I have me a permanent regular spot Thursdays at 9am. 2x I missed 2 weeks in a row cause I was sick and then the 3rd week he can’t see me? Does he have a 2 strikes and then no? I get that perhaps some people will take advantage of free psychology and miss appointments cause you’re tired or can’t face it or just can’t be bothered. I can see that psychs would have a rule around tjat stuff. But I was genuinely sick. Like upper and lower respiratory infections, 2x antibiotics. Effects to my hearing. My interim interim CM was going to talk to him about it. But I’m anxious about it.

Re: My Mosaic

I don’t know if this is classed as catastrophising or not cause I don’t always automatically think of worst case scenarios. But I develop a scenario in my head based on evidence I have gathered and then I can’t stop thinking about it. I will have conversations in my head with the person and rehearse it over and over in an effort to ensure that when I face the person I know what I am going to say. I am a rather suspicious person cause I’ve been screwed over far too many times so I find my information and gather a pretty strong case. But then that’s usually as far as I go cause the words disappear when I need them the most, I am terrified of confrontation and just chicken out. But it’s torture the time leading up to it cause the conversations and thoughts are so relentless. Today’s is my psychologist. 😩😩😩
