My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Oh I hope it hasn’t been too stressful @AuntGlow??

me…. Still trying to cope with all the changes in my supports. Still very much not ok with it and my new SW seems to be very unhelpful. Away a lot. Says she is coming to check in with me cause she is concerned but then never shows up. It all sucks a lot.
I’ve been sick the last week and a half. Had telehealth with my gp today, got an upper and lower respiratory infection. I’m frustrated and over it. Going to miss my psychologist and CM appointment tomorrow. I’m still yet to meet my new CM in that capacity.
we’re on the hunt for a house sitter cause we are headed to tassie in July. Spend some time with my brother.

Re: My Mosaic

Hello @AuntGlow it’s good to see you on here. Hope you’re doing ok.

Sorry about the infection @Bow but hopefully the antibiotics knock it out. It will be good if you can still talk to your psych tomorrow.

Re: My Mosaic

But it’s the withdrawals of meds yeah @Snowie im sure they’d insist i came off them in hospital. No thanks

did your pdoc respond in a caring and helpful way? I haven’t really had a pdoc in years where I really talk much to them. They all just manage my meds and then send me away.

@Eve7 what was the highlight of your trip? Fav part of london?

Re: My Mosaic

I feel like I belong in London @Bow even though my family first came here I 1789. Weird eh!! The European river cruise was just amazing in every way even though I’ve now seen enough castles, abbeys and cathedral to last a lifetime! Every one was so spectacular and even if I had stayed on the ship the scenery would have satisfied me.

I could live in Salzburg except I don’t speak German 😊 The people on our cruise ship were all lovely and everything was 5 star service food, drinks, entertainment. Our team won at trivia…no thanks to me though. I don’t care if I never walk on cobble stones again haha. I had a few episodes of overwhelm but I just went to bed early on those nights.

Re: My Mosaic

Oh in another life I’d live in London @Eve7!! I love london and I really hope to get back there just once more in my life.

I do know what you mean by all the castles, abbeys and cathedrals. They are all so beautiful and spectacular to look at. So much history and aww. But at the same time yes you do get a bit over looking at them. I certainly understand why my D got bored after the first one!

Hey @Jynx feel like it’s been a long time. Hope you’re doing alright? Keeping warm?

Re: My Mosaic

Hiya @Bow how's you?

Yeah staying mostly warm - it's getting sunlight/vitamin D that's a challenge at the moment! It's like I'll see some beams through the window and by the time I step outside the clouds have swept in! Don't even get me started on doing laundry right now... 😅

Re: My Mosaic

Bit sick at the moment @Jynx upper and lower respiratory infection. Ick. Very over it. Week and a half now. Frustrated.

yeah not been too much sunshine here either, which for the most part I don’t mind. I forget to take my vitamin D. It’s not in my Webster pack so it doesn’t exist. Ya laundry is a slow drying process eh. 2 big clothes horses and a hanging rack in the garage. Some times it’s putting one load on them to dry one Saturday and taking it off the following Saturday just dry.

how are your kitties?

Re: My Mosaic

Oh that's rough @Bow definitely not nice to be sick when it's so cold and wet outside. I wish you well, hopefully soon 🤞

Yeah hard to remember to take em if it's not part of routine! Maybe put them near where you keep your webster pack?

I find I need a pedestal fan to ensure my laundry doesn't get stinky if it goes up inside! It takes sooooo long hey.

Kitties are good, they're mostly curled up into balls these days cos of the cold! Haha.

Some sleepy pics -
