My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Yep I’ll put it in my book cabinet…. But at the moment it won’t fit. Too many books! 😂 @Jynx

we just sat outside around the fire pit. Our place has an awesome fire pit setup already but we’ve never used it until tonight… daughter had been nagging for weeks for marshmallow toasting. @Snowie

I do now though, need to go have a shower cause I can’t stand the smell of smoke on me 😩

Re: My Mosaic

That book nook looks amazing @Bow It doesn't look like it was easy to build. So many different parts to it.

Looking forward to seeing the furniture you're working on too.

That fire pit looks nice hon. Love sitting around a fire, not that I do it much.

Yep that is a downside, smelling of smoke. Hopefully the shower will help.

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow hahaha oh noooo I can't imagine there's a single one you'd wanna get rid of either!

Oh looks so lush!! Something very soothing about watching a fire. Hehe marshmallows too, especially when they come out all caramelised!

So wild to me that you don't like the smell of lingering smoke, it's one of my fav things about sitting near a fire! I hope it's just a sensory thing and not some bad memories...

@Snowie Hope your day has been ok. Hope you’re ok.

I’ve had a rough day. Tried to keep busy. Thoughts very loud. And now overwhelming sad. I wanna go to bed. Hide. Need safety.

Re: My Mosaic

Hi dear @Bow

Sorry to hear this is the case hon. Simply not fair. Don't understand at all why they would do that to someone.

I know how much trust and consistency are key factors in being able to talk openly and honestly with your supports. It doesn't make any sense.

Sitting with you hon 💕💕

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks @Snowie

@my SW came to visit after I didn’t take her numerous calls or reply to her text messages. She knew. Her boss- my old SW knows and she still did it. My SW raised that in the morning meeting that I won’t cope and the boss said do a slow transition then.

urgh!

my SW understands. She has a daughter with complex health issues and everytime she gets a new case worker she hears about it.

I found the 2 page letter I wrote last time… thanks to the search box here! And I’ve sent it to my SW, my old SW (the boss) and I also told them to send it to the powers above. My SW was going back to advocate for me. Fingers crossed 🤞 it actually does something

im just so angry. I don’t understand. I literally spent an hour sitting at my desk downstairs staring at the wall, shut down, confused

Re: My Mosaic

I'm glad your SW agrees with you @Bow and is letting them know. Lets just hope they actually listen to her and something can be done about it.

You've got every right to be angry and confused hon, I would be too. It just doesn't make any sense. I'm sure there are others out there that agree with you too.

Re: My Mosaic

My SW said there are about 5 other people that are going to need a slow transition….. and my SW also said that I have a right to lodge a complaint too @Snowie

still waiting to hear back about the complaint I made about my admission…. Haven’t even received an acknowledgment of my email yet….

how are you doing today?

Re: My Mosaic

Not surprised there are others too that don't want the change @Bow and need a slow transition. Did your SW tell you the reasoning behind it, why they were doing it?

You should have at least gotten an email just so you know they got yours about your admission. I'm sure if it was a compliment you would have heard back.

I'm ok. Had gp this morning. Didn't really tell her much, just in and out. Least I've had a day off from mum.

Got a few busy weeks ahead with appts. for mum, psych and pdoc and H having an op on his knee.
