I hear you @Bow. I have felt that way many times in my clothing lately too... you're definitely not alone.

Having lots of people around that you have to make small talk with is also very exhausting, isn't it? It sounds like the experience created quite a bit of discomfort for you, which is completely understandable - new places and people are often a lot to take in/navigate.

Now that you have been, what do you imagine might make it a little bit more comfortable next time?

@mood is pretty low today. Just home from my appointment at the hospital to get my sleep study results. I got very mild sleep apnea but the dr wants me to have another sleep test to test me for narcolepsy!!????? Sigh.

seen my SW. she was running late? Or had the time down wrong, but I was so anxious waiting for her. I was rather fearful of going in and getting these results and really needed someone with me. I guess I was thankful the dr was running late when my sw arrived nearly 1/2 late.

her sister did pass away

I’ll see her again for my surgery follow up tomorrow.

we are going out for dinner tonight for my birthday, half price place. One of my favorites

It's a shame they couldn't test for both at the same time. I know it's not a great sleep when you are hooked up to a machine.

Things with mum went ok. Took her up the street and then sorted out a few things for her, or more so clarified a few things with where she lives.

Been busy today. Cleaned bathrooms, toilets, vacuumed, moped, washed and cooked 2 banana cakes (had some very ripe bananas). Really tried to keep busy. Trying not to think.

Tomorrow’s my birthday, but going out for dinner tonight cause this place has 1/2 price mains Tuesdays @Snowie

yeah it’s a shame they didn’t test and read results from both cause from a quick google it’s pretty much the same stuff. I have to go to a private clinic though for this one but cause it’s a hospital referral it will be bulk billed. The dr made the comment that he knows I’d prefer to do at home, but this one has to be done in a lab. I did catch a glimpse of the referral form and I don’t believe it is local which is really annoying. Hopefully I can drive myself cause I have to be there at like 8pm

Dinner for 1/ price sounds good. I guess it's a good way for the restaurant to get people in mid week too. That mocktail sounds yummy!

Bulk billed is always better hon but a shame you can't do it at home. I'd thought having to sleep in a strange place for the night wouldn't give great results. Hopefully you can drive yourself, I don't see why it would be an issue. Your not having any meds or anything like that.

I've finally stopped and my head is going into overdrive now.
