Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow take some breaths if you can... slow it all down and break it into steps. Is it just your bed time meds to take?

You're not a bad mum. Maybe you can just pop in on her briefly, check in, say 'I love you', and pop out? Nothing too intense. But small gestures like that can go a long way - for both of you.

Is there one small thing you can do to make your space feel a little safer?

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow What's on the menu? Cup of tea? Big glass o water? Something sweet?

See if you can focus on the flavour, temperature, how the cup or mug feels in your hands. You are here, safe, in the present. Feelings aren't facts, you are in control. You got this 💜

Re: My Mosaic

Just filled my drink bottle up @Jynx diet cordial and lots of ice… even though it’s real cold here tonight. Just crawled into bed too, snuggled down under the covers and ready to hopefully sleep real soon

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow I hope the extra cold of the ice helps keep you grounded. Glad you're all snuggled up in bed, hope it's toasty in there and no cold toesies to speak of!! No one wants cold toes in bed hehe.

Do you remember ages ago we spoke about the ideal cottage-life? Surrounded by wildflowers and with nothing to do but chill, paint, tend to garden, craft, read, and cook tasty food? Maybe you can picture that as you're dozing off 😉

Hope sleep finds you swiftly hun, and that the sandman gives you pleasant dreams 💜

@Jynx Ya got no idea how much it means that you remember that cottage garden. It really warms my heart.

bed was so nice and toasty last night. It was rather chilly and I didn’t even need my fan on.

Hi @Bow

I'm ok just tired

ECT yesterday

Cold, wet and miserable here today. Hasn't stopped raining all day and night. Rugged up on the couch watching F1.

Anything happening there?

Re: My Mosaic

Sounds like a nice way to spend a wet cold day @Snowie snuggled up on the couch

dropped D at her fathers this morning and I went to the shops briefly. PA had last days of their sale so I got myself a new pair of pjs to take to hospital with me. Got D some pjs for Easter

washed the dog. Had a SW come visit. She was my old old SW- my first one. And mum just called. She’s in Sydney, but other flights were delayed and her suitcase is still in Melbourne. They will have it delivered to us, so she’s gonna jump on a train and head home.
