My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Hahahaha @Bow "Kids organise their own play dates"! Too funny but so true. My niece once wrote a letter to this friend to invite them to the movies lol. Um.... the kid's parent looked at this letter with the invitation scrawled on it in coloured pencil.

Kids are funny.

Then again, D's hardly a kid anymore!

I stayed up talking to my niece last night. We just laughed and laughed. She was telling me about incidents at school with casual relief teachers etc. She cracked me up.

As for the meds, I can't believe we are so similar! I took mine only about 5-10 mins ago and realised I forgot to take my morning ones too! And mine are all labelled in webster packs! I'm hopeless lol.

Re: My Mosaic

Yep I think because she’s been allowed to add a couple of friends to kids messenger they organise things and she just comes out to ask if it’s ok @tyme a bit of back and forth and changing things and it’s all planned!

D was still cleaning downstairs so I just crawled into bed. She came up shortly after so I told her she had to tuck me in tonight! Came and gave me a kiss and cuddle and I said to her…. ‘Come and check on me’…. She giggled. She has said that as I walk out of her room of a night for as long as I can remember. I love it. It’s sweet. But I pretty much crawl into bed as soon as I’ve tucked her in so I never come and check on her and she knows it, but still says it. It’s like an automatic response.

it’s nice eh when we can sit up and have chats like that. At the kitchen table perhaps over a milo and some biscuits.

yep mine are in Webster packs too. I don’t forget mine much at all. At least not my morning or night ones. I occasionally forget or can’t be bothered getting up to have my midday stim meds. I try and take a few downstairs cause that’s where I often am at midday when my alarm goes off.

i need to remember to talk to the pdoc about my meds and having ECT. Cause I did a bit of research and one med I might need to stop. I want to be all prepared and ready to go, I want to ask if I can have all the bloods and ecg before I go in so I don’t waste a week in hospital doing that stuff.

All good @Snowie sleep is never something to be sorry for!! How has your weekend been? Hope sleep was a little better for you last night?

Haha now I'm keeping you on your toes by being here on a Sunday @Bow 😋

Yeah so ok to say, I am indeed the kind of neurospicy where I struggle to put on moisturiser because of the icky sticky! But it can be okay when it's not too hot cos if I put long leggings on over the top I'm not so bothered. Putting the leggings on is not too fun tho hahaha

When do you pick up kitties? Did you manage to score some Lego sets today?

Re: My Mosaic

Did D's friend come today @Bow ?

How are you?

What's happening on your side of the world?

We've had lovely rain here. It was so pleasant to have a good downpour after a long time.

Re: My Mosaic

I guess I just take it as a nice surprise when I see you pop up @Jynx

We didn’t really lock in any specific day to pick the kitties up, but I’m going to contact them and ask if I can do it on Tuesday, will kinda be out that wayish

physically no Lego sets were got today, but I ordered the ginger cat online. I’ve also spent a chunk of time building Lego that I already had. The aristocats Marie and 2 of the 101 Dalmatians puppy’s.

been spending a lot of time with my head stuck in panic mode about my appointment at comm mh tomorrow morning

Re: My Mosaic

Yes, doing another round of fostering @tyme 3 little ginger ones. I don’t know any other details at the moment. They only came into the shelter last week, so still need to be in quarantine. I have a good setup downstairs away from other animals and lots of hand sanitizer!

I am gonna be off for a little while, going to see my fam in NSW - so I may not see kitties till I get back!! But I look forward to it 😊

Oooh nice! Love the Aristocats too, omg that would be so cute!!

Very fair hun, I can imagine it's all a lot to prepare for/process. What are you most worried about?

Re: My Mosaic

Have you still got the last lot of kittens @Bow ? I remember they were getting desexed and that's the last I heard. How cute!

You can have them for a short time and then hand them back!
