That sounds nice @Eve7 we’ve made home made apple sauce before cause we had pork and no sauce in the jar left.
we had chicken kiev, sweet potato chips and salad- D is super super fussy so had nuggets, chips, carrots and cauliflower. She complained tonight cause she wanted something different, but really there isn’t much to cook for her. Mum and I had lasagna the 2 nights prior and she had plain pasta with her carrots and cauliflower 😩

It’s hard when kids are fussy @Bow it’s good you had an alternative for her.

Do you have anything scheduled for tomorrow?

Yeah @tyme its been a pretty rough week

I’ll just start my next uni assignment tomorrow @Bow last one for this subject yippee.

I have a busy weekend with sport and a movie with the girls. I’m hoping to sleep well tonight as last night was crap.

@Bow pushing people away is not a moral failing hun - to my mind, it is an overloaded nervous system that is desperately trying to protect itself from potential disappointment, struggles, and pain. Even if you logically know that reaching out and attending appts is the best step, we all default to the patterns that once kept us safe when we're in super anxious situations. It's so understandable 💜

I made a big batch of stock last night. Pork bone and a bunch of veggie scraps I'd been saving in the freezer. Still not sure what I'm gonna cook yet, but it smelled amazing! Any suggestions or tasty recipes you have wouldn't be unwelcome 😝

@Bow yes it was!! the first part was the church ceremony (the floral decorations were beautiful) and then the reception was straight after - lots of food (they had a separate desserts buffet, LOTS of dancing, etc. honestly it got overstimulating at times, was very exhausted and sleep deprived but overall the people there made the experience enjoyable.

sounds like things have been tough for you but i'm glad you've pushed on. have you got anything planned for this weekend?
