Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Nah the hospital is like 5-10 min drive, so nice and close @Snowie I have a friend that will come pick me up. I think mum will also come down to the hospital once D has gone to school. Not sure if they will let me leave by myself. I know they don’t let you drive, but saving my friend having to park, she can come to the main entrance and pick me up.
D is going alright with walking to school. Mum has been walking her a small part of the way, she’s a bit overly cautious with crossing the roads. Hopefully she will build her confidence and be able to do it herself soon.

Re: My Mosaic

Thats nice and close @Bow

I'm glad you have a friend that can come pick you up, makes it a little easier for you and for your mum. Don't have to worry about an uber home.

I guess with D it is baby steps. Start small and eventually do it by herself. Hopefully she will gain that confidence.

I hope recovery goes well hon. Did they say how long you will be out of action for?

Re: My Mosaic

Thats totally understandable @Bow that you are getting more anxious hon.

It is scary being put under. To not have that control.

I hope you have some really nice nurses and doctors that can help you feel a little more at ease.

Re: My Mosaic

Sorry @Bow

Not sure if you are still around.

Had to feed everyone. Both kids home at the same time so actually could have a family dinner!

If I don't speak to you again I really hope tomorrow goes ok.

You'll be in my thoughts hon and will check in on you tomorrow 💕💕

Arrrgh support button not working

We had chicken pad thai for tea @Bow

My kids are very easy to feed. If they don't have to make it then they'll eat anything!

I'm guessing you were on the liquid diet today for tomorrow?

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @Bow here I am! Popping up outta the woodwork like a rare mushroom 🙃🍄

I'm reading that you're in for a procedure tomorrow and gotta go under general anaesthetic? VERY legit to be feeling a lotta dread!! Fingers crossed for some very kind-hearted staff there to support you.

The one and only time I've been under general, when I came to I said to the nurses, "Oh sorry, I fell asleep!" 🤣 They just laughed.

Good news about the sleep study able to be done in the comfort of home too! Hope it isn't too invasive haha and you find out some stuff to help! 🤞

Hiya @Snowie how's your world? Sounds like you've been busy? 🐝
