Yeah liquid diet today @Snowie your dinner sounds nice, did you make it? I’d love anything solid right now! I got some nice fresh chicken soup from the shops but had to put it through a sieve to get all the chunks out. Urgh

i have to keep my fluids up but I am very much over liquids.

yep general anesthetic tomorrow morning lots of anxiety and dread. Not a nice feeling not being in control of my own body.

yea so glad it could be done at home, I’ll at least get some sleep. He said they only really need 3-4hrs of sleep.

how are you? What have you been up to?

Have you been under before @Bow? I think it happens pretty quick, like I didn't even have time to count down from 10 before I was suddenly waking up again. It's a little bizarre because with sleep, you can kinda feel that time has passed - with anaesthetic it's like you blink and it's done.

I know that it's not fun to not be in control of your body, but I hope that it will go so smoothly that you barely notice it.

Hmm... not much new in my world. Bit of celebrating for Midsumma, went out to dinner with my partner and her friends (and ate WAY too many tacos!) and just looking after my two fuzzy lil gremlins who are very grumpy about having to be kept inside at night these days (and have told me about it every night for several months now... loudly!) 🙀😋

survived surgery. It went ok. So much waiting this morning which was so anxiety provoking. But kind nurses. Many biopsies taken and I needed some blood. They turf you out pretty quick afterwards. My SW ended up coming to pick me up cause my friend was sick. I’ve slept most of the afternoon- with such vivid dreams and I could go back to bed now but should eat something. Had a shocking headache all day too. Need to call and make an appointment to see dr in 2 weeks time.

The waiting around doesn't help but I'm so glad you had some nice nurses.

Thats good that your SW was able to pick you up and take you home hon. They do get rid of you very quickly!

You must have needed the sleep, hopefully you can sleep tonight too.

Feeling a bit more alive now @Snowie sat and had some soup for dinner. Just read through the papers they sent me home with and looked at the photos they took!
