I’ve got an old vintage child’s wardrobe cupboard type thing- that will be my next project. Then I have a coffee table and the. A tall narrow chest of drawers…. And heaps more!

It is solid timber @Bow and probably about 70 years old. Was my great Aunties.

Sounds like you have a few projects that you can work your way through. I'm glad you have that as an outlet. Something to look forward too.

last night was rather bad and today just got worse.. found out my older brother who is battling bowel cancer has recently had a stroke. His been experiencing weakness down one side and he had a ctscan this arvo.

Am I right in saying cancer runs in the family? (no need to answer if you don't feel comfortable doing so).

It must be stressful to hear about your bro. I'm guessing he's not 'old' - if you know what I mean.
