My Mosaic

D is unfortunately a very messy person @Snowie im actually at a loss as to how to manage it. She just doesn’t care. I spent a few hours yesterday cleaning up her downstairs craft area. Just stuff everywhere. Paintbrushes ruined cause she didn’t wash them, couple of tubs of paint ruined cause the lid wasn’t on properly. She had some plaster of Paris powder for some craft kit that she had placed everywhere, goodness knows why.

I picked up a big washing basket full of rubbish from her room today. She has now been told no more crafting in her room. No glue or scissors. The poor vacuum got a good workout, the rattle of alllllll the beads I vacuumed up.

I mean I love that she loves to make stuff. She’s got so many dragon hand puppets that she has made, but she’s gotta learn to clean up after herself. It’s really not that hard. She’s got bins.

home and away starts again tonight! We are all looking forward to it!

anything in particular your looking at in Kmart? I have a click and collect ready. Wish it was ready this morning when I was near there.

yep, D is keen for school. I think she has finally connected with some girls so is keen to go back. Just hope that she has some friends in her class. We went and did a school shop last week. She is in a Women’s size 9 shoes!! She is 10! I’m between a 9 and 10.

If she is like my D, it does get better. She was messy when young but very organised and neat now. Hopefully with age makes her care more about her things and cleans up more. Since about 12, I've made my kids vacuum their rooms every second week.

Used to watch home and away when I was younger, but haven't watched it for years. Couldn't tell you who is still in it.

Wanted to look at a few organising draw/cupboard things at kmart. Have had a look on line but want to see them in person. Probably pick up some things I don't need too!

Thats so good that D has connected with some girls at school. Hopefully at least one is in her class. It's good that she is excited to go back. Makes it so much easier when they want to go.

Wow, that is a big foot for 10. Sounds like she will end up being tall.

They grow so quick at that age. Always having to buy shoes/clothes.

I sure hope that with age she gets better @Snowie ! Mum and I have bought her some nice arts and craft supplies and she just doesn’t respect the stuff.

so much cool stuff in Kmart! And great for organising. Mum just told me we should do an IKEA run before school goes back…. No complaints here!

D will be tall. Her father is tall. Just goes through shows and long pants so quick!

think I’m gonna go crawl into bed hon. Heads chattering a lot and it’s not nice. Talk tomorrow 💜

Hoping you got some sleep last night and you can get what you needed done this morning, so you can have a rest this afternoon.

Was awake at 5 here. Been to kmart and home again. Really quiet so that was good. Brought more than I needed like always!

I didn’t really sleep well last night (again) plus D woke me up in the middle of the night cause she went to get a drink and found a bug. I had to get up and deal it.
I still need to sort through a box in D’ s room and a couple of other little random bits and pieces. But mostly done. I even had some time this morning to finish off my tv stand. I used some stencils to add some details and then gave it all a coat of furniture seal. Watching some tv now. SW coming soon.

hehe it’s always the way at Kmart eh!? Did you buy anything for yourself?

Brought some leggings for myself and some organisation things for the linen cupboard. Now just have to organise it. Really needs a big clean out. There's some sheets/towels that need to be thrown out or rags for H.

Thanks @Snowie but I not sure I should be here really not in a good way. Lots inside my head talking lots of pictures too that don’t feel ok it’s yuck and makes it hurt. Want the pictures smells and feels to stop
