yep… well….. when I mix up my concoction of paints I always make sure that I make plenty for another coat at least. With this one…. I had a tub of green and a tube of a colour that was very close to what I wanted it. Mixed them together and added 2 different tubes of blue and mixed it well. Did a coat and decided that it was too green, so added a heap of navy blue and a bit of white. Think I like that and will give another coat today.

Keeping busy here. Changing sheets, towels, all the fun things.

Don't really want to stop and think.

Have you got much on for today? How is your painting going?

Sounds like your doing what you need to to keep yourself busy and distracted @Snowie and a clean house is nice.

I’ve done a final coat of paint and started on the gold trims.

Finished all the washing. Well it just has to dry now.

Gave up about an hour ago. Just on the couch.

I read your post just now back to Jynx about making up enough paint for the second coat. I hate when I have painted something and then I need to do another coat or touch-ups and I run out of the paint I mixed -- because I can never get it the same again lol. 🤣. My painting is small figures, not furniture, but recently I bought some tubes/pots to put paint into for myself for being able to mix up extra "for the future" without it drying out (some of my pots in the past dried out.. must not have been air tight enough).

Would love to see it when it is finished also. 😍

@Snowie Good job! 😊. I should probably do my washing too - but it can be a "tomorrow" job. I was out all morning from 7:45am until 3pm, so I shall rest this afternoon instead. I love that clothing dries itself once hung 😊. I hang mine indoors so I don't have to remember to bring it in lol. Then I usually pluck those items off the dry rack to wear again 🤣 - saves me packing them away mostly lol. Lazy? ... "energy-efficient" 😎.

@Snowie The painting has kept me busy yes. I think I have mostly finished now. I just wanna add some decorative touches like the side of the draws.

glad you got your washing done. I need to do some myself actually.

and like you @AlwaysMyself i much prefer to hang clothes inside, or at least on a clothes horse that I can easily drag inside. I never remember to bring washing in on time.

I’ve learnt many times to now make up enough paint just incase I need to do a second coat. But I do now have half a Chinese takeaway tub of greenish paint.

I will post a pic once I’ve finished it.

I have an indoor line in my laundry that I use the most. For sheets/towels I normally use the outside line or dryer.
