that's good that SW know, i'm glad you've spoken about it with someone @Bow i do remember you mentioning how CM has refused to read things, i hope she gives you a chance tomorrow - you deserve to be heard. will SW be joining the meeting?

Nah, just me @rav3n CM doesn’t not appreciate when SW tags along. A while back my CM came to do a home visit, I had asked for my SW to be there cause I needed a bit of support in communicating some things to my CM and that whole team. My SW ended up being away and another SW came along- that was an issue in itself, but she was there nonetheless to make sure I was heard. CM did not like SW there, did like a 5min visit and left and then called later that day to organise another visit without anyone there. Look I guess I understand. I had massive issues on Saturday when my CM did a home visit and she bought someone else…. And without informing me prior. I had this list for her, and it was pretty important that I talk with her about it cause things are pretty dire atm. But I shut down immediately when I heard 2 car doors shut and her visit was a waste of time. BUT…. In saying all that, having a support worker is exactly what that is for yeah? To help advocate? To provide support to appointments.

I wrote this big long thing about why words are hard sometimes and I was brave enough to read it to my CM. I felt like she heard me, understood and stuff. But that was it. She still very much expects me to read or just talk 😩 so not sure how tomorrow will go.

ahh that's tough when CM and SW seem to clash a bit. i agree with you, the SW is there to advocate for you too. the fact CM listened to you last time is a good sign, and i do hope that she gives you that opportunity to feel heard again!! holding hope for you that this appointment goes well 💙 @Bow
