My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @Snowie

im pretty tired today had a really rough night last night. Was talking about it with my SW a little while ago, it’s like a depressive mania…. reckless and impulsive, irritable with all this negative energy pumping through my body, but feeling really low and hopeless. Stupid things were done. But I was honest with my SW. she offered to take me to my gp but I said I would be ok.

I showed her my 3 lists and she was proud of me for putting 3 things on the ‘what I do good’ list.

im tired. I’m on the couch watching the simple life-trashy tv that’s a bit funny.

how are you today? What have you been doing?

Re: My Mosaic

Not good about your night @Bow

Glad that the SW came out to check in and made sure you were ok. Really proud that you were honest with her. I know that can be really hard.

That was great that you were able to list some things you're good at hon and was able to show her. Even that can be really tricky.

Today has been a write off. Made it to the couch.

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah it can be hard to be honest sometimes eh @Snowie especially about these kind of things.

my SW said that she could easily fill a page with all the things that I am good at. But it’s so hard for me to see them things when I’m so down on myself all the time. And list 3 is still empty… the things I wanna do cause seeing past just today is so hard.

I’m sorry today’s been a write off hope the couch has been comfy at least.

Re: My Mosaic

It can be hard to be honest @Bow at times.

Scared to admit what we did, scared of the consequences.

I could list a lot of things you're good at hon, and I only know you on here. I'm sure your SW can list multiple things.

I can understand not being able to look further than the present hon. Looking into the future can be really difficult.

Least I got dressed.

Re: My Mosaic

Went down and had some kitten therapy @Snowie

I’m suppose to be trying to wean them all. But it’s hard! I basically just have to seperate them all from mum. As someone who nurses my daughter until she was nearly 4, it breaks my mumma heart! 💜

there two 💜 folklore the tabby being squished by red. Folklore is always in my lap. He hit the 1kg mark today! All the others are still 700-900gms. Need to beef them up!

They are very cute @Bow

Would be good kitty therapy.

Have you got much on tomorrow? Do you have to go pick your mum up?

Re: My Mosaic

They are indeed @Eve7

Not much tomorrow @Snowie my SW did say yesterday that she would do a home visit tomorrow. She also said yesterday she would do one today, but she still texted me and asked what I was doing today and that she’d like to do a home visit. She’s a bit forgetful.
mum doesn’t fly in until 3pm and then another hr on the train. So I’m gonna guess around 5-5:30pm pick up at the station. It’s annoying… cause the airport station is privately owned, so instead of $2 cap for a pensioner, it costs something like $18 I think the last we used it. It’s crazy. I use to drive in and pick up from the airport, it’s only 35mins-ish on a good run. There was one toll, which is included in the cash back scheme. So you got it all back. But they did all this road work recently and added new tolls and it costs something like $25 return… and that doesn’t included the toll cashback. It’s absolutely ridiculous. They build these roads to encourage people to get off the other roads that clog everything up, but then it costs a fortune. My best friend and old pastors travel to a church on the other side of the harbor now and it costs them $50 return each Sunday. Anyways with those tolls plus fuel, you can catch the train sorry mum!

but I wanna vacuum and tidy up a little.

you got much on tomorrow?
