Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @Bow ,

Sorry to hear things are so hard. What did you get up to today?

Also, with you post above, are you able to include what support you'd like from the community or what you are doing to stay safe so that it aligns with recovery-oriented posting?

Feel free to reach out here or at team@saneforums.org if you have any questions or want support with this.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Re: My Mosaic

Nah, you're not too much. We just have to make sure posts stay within guidelines.

Sorry to hear you feel alone. Was D at home today?

When is your house inspection? @Bow

Oh, and I've just edited your post above to add that extra sentence about not being alone. You can have a look above if you want. @Bow

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah daughter was/is home. But she does her own thing @tyme

house inspection is on the 3rd so mum has gone gung ho already spending the whole day outside in the garden. She stresses so much at inspection time.

i have been anxiously expecting health to come around since my psychologist appointment on Thursday, things I said they should of followed up with their duty of care. But nothing. Not that I want them here. I absolutely don’t want to see them. But at the same time I am disappointed with their zero care.

Re: My Mosaic

Have they ever explained Dignity of Risk to you? As you've told them, you do not want to go to hospital, nor do you want emergency turning up.

As adults, there is a level of risk that mental health services take as part of dignity of risk. They respect your choices and decisions becuase you are an adult and the choices you make are yours.

Just say, they turn up and drag you to hospital. What benefit would that be? If anything, it would do more harm than good, right?

I don't think it's because they don't care. If anything, they are respecting your desires in not going to hospital.

However, if you wanted to go to hospital, it's important to let them know that so they can take appropriate action.

It's not easy to work in mental health. We sit with risk all the time. Yes, there is a level of duty of care, but this must be balanced with dignity of risk.

Sorry if I'm not making sense @Bow

Re: My Mosaic

No that makes sense @tyme

@and yeah I guess….. and I understand that they have to deal with risk all the time and manage all that.
I guess just with what I said and with my history.

anyways I don’t wanna say anything else.

Makes sense @Bow

In a way, I'm glad they respected your choice and didn't drag you into something you didn't want.

I know first hand what it's like and it still gives me shivers!

On another note, any more cricut projects?

I was thinking about trialing the greaseproof paper on the iron on vinyls. I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: My Mosaic

I absolutely don’t wanna be dragged off for a psych admission. Traumatizing and triggers my ED behavior badly.

but yeah.

I started making some mahjong tiles yesterday with my cricut. @tyme
