My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

I really hope your SW is there @Bow Hopefully they will be able to support you.

I know how much it takes just to go.

I mostly hate crying too. I really hate if people see me doing it (even H)

The worst thing is there are times when I have no clue what will set me off.

I'm ok. Just still trying to deal with the paperwork before Mum goes into care on Wednesday.

Re: My Mosaic

Im flying into Prague @Bow then doing a river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. After that going to London and York and best of all it will be Business class! It’s not until April next year so quite a bit of planning time.

I hope your pdoc visit goes well this week. I have mine in Thursday.

That sounds amazing @Eve7 ! And even better going business class! I’ve done plenty of long haul flights in economy and it’s no fun.

Re: My Mosaic

Sorry @Bow

Just had to finish cooking tea.

I was expecting it to take longer for mum to get in since they were full, but there is a guy leaving so she is going into his room. We've seen the room and it's nice. Has a door to an outside garden so she can take some of her plants with her.

She is ok about it. I have told her that if she doesn't end up liking it she doesn't have to stay.

It's about a 5 min drive from my house which is good.

How is D going at her new school? Settled in ok?

Re: My Mosaic

That sounds so good @Snowie the room, the outside space, that she is ok with it all and that it is so close for you. Does she get to take much of her own things? Like furniture and niknaks?

and what about you hon? How are you feeling about it all? Hope you’re not guilting yourself?

what was for dinner tonight?

D is enjoying school… at least that is what she is saying. She got invited to a birthday party yesterday for one of her friends at her old school. She got there and she was the only school friend, the rest were family and such, so I thought that was really nice that her friend thought of her like that. And they both had been so excited to see each other.
The walk to and from school is a bit further so I’m trying to build up her confidence so she can walk by herself… cause I’m sick of driving her! I could walk with her but I’m just too god dam fat n lazy!

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah she can take her own furniture in @Bow We are going to start with her chair and mini fridge and take it from there. Looking at other peoples rooms they've really made it their own.

I think it will make her more comfortable if we can put some 'home' touches on it.

I'm ok about her going in. I really think it will be the best for her. I'm hoping she gets involved in lots of activities there.

Tea was spaghetti. What did you have?

That was really nice of her friend. I'm sure she would have loved it. I'm glad she is enjoying it. Hopefully she can make some good friends at this school too.

Hopefully soon she will walk by herself soon. Makes it easier for you too. I wouldn't want to walk either!

Our school is a good 10-15 mins away in school traffic so never walked!

I love London too. I feel like I belong there.
