My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Good morning friends. @Eve7 @Emelia8 @Snowie @Anastasia @Appleblossom @Bunniekins just a few that have maybe been following along. I'm okish today. My back is sore, I grabbed some extra blankets yesterday and put them under the bottom sheet in the hopes to make the mattress not so freaking hard, didn't make much of a difference at all. I didn't get woken as often by nurses shining the torch right in my face, so that's a plus.
hoping to see a pdoc today to see what their plan is for me and how long they are planning to keep me in here. I want out ASAP. Think the only good thing that could come of this is that maybe the professor that I seen via zoom and gave me my diagnosis will maybe see me? She works out of this hospital, so will try and mention that to them and see if it's a possibility and for me to perhaps see her ongoing.
It's a lovely sunny day today, I'm missing my walks. I do a lot of laps of the corridors.
hooe you are all ok.

Re: My Mosaic

Morning @Bow

Sounds like the beds are not too comfortable in there.

Thanks for keeping us updated on how you are going.

I am hoping you can get out of there soon. It would be good if you could see the professor when you are at home too. It is always good if we connect well with our support.

Lots of love and hugs hon💜💜

I am ok thanks @Bow

Dropped the kids of at school, had a shower and now just doing some washing. It never seems to end!!

Have you got any groups on today?

Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie I hate doing washing too!

@Bunniekins thank you.

im not sure if they have groups here. There is a calendar thing, it has arts and craft stuff, cooking, gardening, stuff like that. I haven't done anything over the weekend. I really don't feel comfortable around the others here. Will see how I go.

Re: My Mosaic

It never seems to end @Bow I think my kids just put stuff in the wash instead of taking the time to put it away.

Hopefully today goes well for you hon whatever you decide to do. It is hard sometimes to be around others. When I was in hospital I found it hard to do groups too.

Re: My Mosaic

Yep @Snowie

Sometimes I would find fully folded stuff in basket, that maybe they changed their minds about. What is worth making a fuss about ... Zat is de question!

Re: My Mosaic

I seen the pdoc today. I'm pretty sure he was a pdoc in training back 15+yrs when I was last in this horrible place! I'll have to ask him when I see him next.
he said I'd only be in here a couple of days. He wanted to do an ecg and I'll have bloods done tomorrow morning. He said there isn't much they can do in regards to my ed in here so not much point me staying. I have a support team on the outside. So I'm glad about that.
I've done some walking today and some more painting. Went and sat in the sun for a while. I still haven't managed to eat anything. But they have a yummy hot chocolate machine. I thought about having something to eat a little while ago, but the thought of sitting down in front of everyone gave me such horrible anxiety. I don't think I will be able to break this cycle while in here.
my Mum is bringing my d in soon, and I think one of my friends spoke about coming in, so I'm not sure how that's going to work and if they will let them both in. I'd like to write to someone about the ridiculous visiting restrictions here. The normal hospital is pretty much back to normal so I don't understand why there is a limit here. It would be much easier to track visitors here.
