Checking In
Hi,
I'm not doing so well. Didn't have a good appointment with psychatrist today and because I am struggling, it is difficult for me to open up.

Hi @HenryX
How are you?
Thank you for your message and sharing more about your story with me.
I'm working on myself and hoping to just enjoy my life more and improve my quality of life. I also hope others enjoy their lives too.
My staffy was named Kira too. I love that name. I am glad your mum helped you get Kirra. I feel my Kira is still with me too, because of Milo. Milo is three and half years old and my Kira looked over him and taught him the ropes. So I can understand how you feel the connection with Kirra and your mum.
I hope you can continue to grow and learn more about yourself but also do the things that mean the most to you. Best Wishes OG

I need to rest a lot. A while ago I gave myself a hard time for long sleeping. I had been depressed for a very long time. I found that my mood really did improve when I had enough. I was surprised as I had given up feeling good ever again. I focus on the good things whereas others might think I am lazy. At times in our lives we have no choice but to push through. A lot of people feel deflated by all the things going on in the world. Was there anything specific that caused it?

Hello @oceangirl
Thank you for your response to my rather long statement.
I do hope that it was not an overload for you or anyone else.
Its great to have the four legged companions around.
Virtually unconditional love. My dog Kirra is just past four years old.
Best Wishes for You into the Future.

Hello @MDT
Thank you for your comment and feedback.
As you say you found a certain resonance with some of the ideas, I hope that they will be useful to you and possibly for others you may know. I think that I have been fairly careful, though, about indicating that it is just from my personal experience and reading.
Best Wishes to You for the Future

Hello @Appleblossom
I see you around regularly, and probably do not say hello often enough.
Thank you for your presence and virtual companionship, which I very much appreciate.
With My Best Wishes

Hello @HenryX
Your welcome
No you didn't overwhelm me at all. You have quite a natural talent in your writing and expressing yourself. How are you, with feeling your emotions, or do you over intellectualize them? What do you think your biggest challenge is or issues are currently? I have a few and most related to my depression and sleeping issues. But also my energy levels and not being able to do things I would like to do. That is something that I struggle with the most. And also what do you think is going well for you?
I think dogs are the best and you're right that they give so much unconditional love. Milo will be four in January. The time is flying by, it just feels like yesterday when he was a pup. I am sorry if my response back to you was short but I find it difficult to concentrate with my depression.
What did you do today?

Hi my sister @Appleblossom
Do you still need to rest a lot? I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. There is so much happening atm in terms of how I am feeling. But I am trying my best, to do what can, when I can. I try to not to let others get to me. I truly don't care if people think I am lazy- if I need to rest. If we were physically unwell we would rest and I doubt people would think you were lazy. I am not sure if there is anything specific happening to cause this because its been going on for a litte while. Of course some things in my day to day can impact this for better or worse. I just hope my good days become more !
How are you feeling atm? What did you do today?
