Checking In

Hi,

I'm not doing so well. Didn't have a good appointment with psychatrist today and because I am struggling, it is difficult for me to open up.

@oceangirltry not to worry about her as she sounds like a very silly woman and will get hers in the end. Rise above it next time she comes out with nasty comments.xxx

@Bunniekins I will try to let it go and rise above it - you're right. Its a cold night here and I will probably try to get some sleep soon.

Re: Checking In

I hope you find a resolution my friend I really do @oceangirl

I had a chat to a mate today about another friend of ours. I think we have come to a conclusion that he lacks empathy. Or if he has empathy he doesn't show it.

Sometimes I want to live off the grid and have a few pets even horses. Make fires. Grow food. A world away from the crap people throw at each other.

I don't have the answers my friend but I wish I did.

Not sleeping at all tonight so far @Bunniekins 😔

In serious pain, but hurts too much to move or attempt to find a better position. 😩 Just want the night to end.

@MDT Life is hard enough without others being diffcult. I have had similar conversations with my mum and she thinks she lacks empathy too (SIL).

I have been able to get some sleep and feel a bit better then I did from yesterday. I do know I need more help for my depression because I have been really tackling it on my own. Most of the time I don't know what to do or who to turn to. And I have felt like that for some time.

I have a few thigs to do today- pick up Milo's pram to use post surgery and I will use after he has recovered too. We can use it for walks and when he needs a rest. I have EP session at the gym this afternoon. And I have to go to the chemist and do a grocery shop. I also have to make calls to organize work to be done at home. And then work out a plan to get support for my depression.

I would like to live a simper life too and to do the things that recharge my battery. I loved having bonfires down at the beach and riding my trike along the beach. That was a time when I was the happiest. Having memories like that helps me deal with how I am feeling and also a way to ground myself by tapping into certain emotions.

I worry about opening up and being judged and that is a real fear for me and something I need to work on. But I think that is for another day. What do you have planned for today?
