Re: Trying to stay Sane

Oh thank you lovely @Emelia8 That is so kind of you to say - I truely appreciate it. 💖🦋🐾

I value both you and @Anastasia so very much - along with also valuing so many other forum members here, who help me on a daily basis.( @Eve7 @outlander @BPDSurvivor @Bow @Eve7 )& others I know I've missed I'm not sure I would have made it to be able to see my new medical team without your support and strength.

I don't mean to pit pressure on you both, and I hope I haven't, but truely you have helped me so very much.

You make me cry @Emelia8 @WIP

for your kind words. I feel the same about you too 🙏🤗💕

Home now and I am emotionally drained having had to have a hard talk to my son. He left afterwards. He did apologise and said he gets it but he's angry. Can't say much more than that. Just have to move on from it now so as I said your kind words mean more than you both realise right now as I'm feeling very sad.

Going to switch off as much as I can about it now so it doesn't consume any more of.mybday than it already has.

Love and hugs to you both and everyone else here that I also adore and am grateful for 💕 xox

Dear @WIP ,

Although we are here for you and try our best to support you, it is ultimately you who does the hard work.

You have come a long way even though the road can be treacherous and merciless at times.

I'm so proud of you for reaching out!

Dear @WIP .... no pressure felt here. We all do what we can, when we can. I think its absolutely fantastic that you now have a new competent and supportive medical team installed. And if I, or any one of us here, had an influence in helping you to achieve that ... then that makes me very happy. Thank you for your kind words. 🌺😊💕

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Dear @Anastasia

I expect you are feeling pretty exhausted, and maybe relieved to be home again.

Good on you for having the hard talk to your son. Shame he was angry and left afterwards, but at least he apologised. I guess he knew he had done the wrong thing.

Yes, there is no point on dwelling on it now .. its done and cannot be changed. But perhaps it will make a difference for any future trips away? I hope so.

So how is your Boy this morning? And how about your son's injury ... is he okay too?

And lastly ... and just as importantly ... how are you today? You were feeling terribly sad yesterday. I hope that is not as strong an emotion for you today. Do you have much you need to do today? Hoping you may get some quiet time for yourself. No doubt its going to be a hectic week at work, after having been away for a week.

Sending you a bucket load of love and a big squeezy hug.

Emelia 💞😊🌸

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Thank you my gorgeous friend you seem to just know how I am @Emelia8

I'm in bed. Need to get up so I haven't seen my boy yet. He was very happy to have our company last night. He said he like to go for a ride today and I suggested we all go so we'll see if he still has that in mind. His ideas change like the weather.

My son's head looked nasty. He said it's sore but he said he has the best boss and he's really grateful as he's being looked after there with talk of more training in house as well as formal as they see huge potential. Part of the conversation yesterday was around him moving out. So we'll see how quickly that comes to fruition. He needs to, it will do him good but of course I will miss him.

I'm ok ish. I'm dreading work. Have to physically go I also have a things that need me to be there to do. If my boss is travelling which I have no doubt he'll either be or about to then I'll work from home as much as I can.

So much more I'd love to say/ask etc. Perhaps a coffee and a chat in my lunch break tomorrow? Love you Em x
