Hi @Anastasia ... how are you feeling this afternoon?
I'm glad you were able to have a lie in this morning. Did the ride go ahead today with your Boy and bf, or did your Boy change his mind?
Ouch your Son's head injury sounds fairly significant. I hope he is looking after himself adequately. His place of employment are obviously very impressed with him, which is great. And clearly he wants to excel in what he is doing and enjoying. The fact that they want him to do some in house training as well as some formal training means they can clearly see his potential, enthusiasm and desire to succeed.
I imagine that would be a hard conversation to have with your eldest son ... that of moving out and living independently. Yes, it is a good thing for him. But a difficult thing for his loving Mum. No doubt also difficult for your Boy to see his brother moving out and doing well in his working life. Not to mention the fact that you will have one less co-carer to cover for you on those rare occasions you are unable to be with your Boy. On a positive note however, your Boy has made significant progress in his MI recovery these past 6 months or so. There will come a time he too will be able to live independently, and indeed will want to. You must be very proud of him with what he is set to begin this week. He has done very well.
Yes you poor thing ... I do not envy you at all in getting back to work tomorrow after a week off. I hope you are able to get what needs to be done at the workplace out of the way quickly tomorrow. And fingers crossed that your boss is travelling this week, which will enable you to work from home some days.
I had an appointment with my GP at 9.15am tomorrow morning, a long standing appointment made some 5 weeks or so ago. On Friday I got my usual text to confirm the appointment. And then about 5 mins later I got a call from the receptionist to say they would have to cancel because something had just come up that meant he could not be there then. Grrrrr. I explained that I needed a couple of referrals urgently. In the end they said he may be able to be back by 10.30am tomorrow, and to come then. So I'm not happy about the changes, and am feeling as though it may even get cancelled yet. I hope not, because I need one of the referrals for Tuesdays apt with the exercise physiologist and another for the oncologist next week. Which I had explained to the receptionist. I guess I will find out soon enough.
Yes a lunch time catch up would be nice. Provided I'm home from my GP appointment in time, hubby likes his lunch on the table at 12noon. He then goes for an hour or so sleep after lunch. Its generally a quiet time for me, and I will usually give my Dad a call and chat to him at that time as well. So yeah, that would be nice. Love you more. 💞😊
