It isnt difficult to understand how upset you would have been last night @Anastasia .. and understandably so. 😔🌺
Yes both Holly and I got some decent sleep last night. A bit up and down, with me checking on her regularly, but mostly she seemed okay. Breathing easier than she had been prior to the surgery, despite a lot of swelling in the area. So it should improve more yet. She is naturally very sore, with all her pretty gruesome looking surgical scars and sutures. And looks a bit weird with all the shaved bits from around her neck and cheek. But the hair will grow back and she will be back to the adorably sweet little girl she's always been. Hopefully the lipoma will not regrown from the remaining tumour, or if it does, that it will not become as big or troubling for her. So I desperately hope that she will be with us for at least a few more good years. Even hubby has been very worried about our little girl. Acts big and tough, but a real pushover when it comes to Holly. Except when he loses his temper which sends her scurrying to find a hiding spot.
Okay so you would be on your way home by now. Safe travels. Yes, home to face the music very soon. I am so sorry you were not able to properly enjoy this time away. It seems to have been snippets of wonderfulness, but littered with numerous serious worries from back home. I realise you will be much relieved to be home again. So for that, I'm pleased that you will soon be home.
No doubt you will have lots to catch up on over the weekend and not just the necessary household chores. But I also hope that somewhere along the line you get to have a bit of quiet time as well. All too soon, you're back at work again.
I appreciate you so much @Anastasia ... more than anyone here could fully understand. Please take care. You are such an important and valued person within your family unit, as well as becoming more and more so here as well.
Much love and hugs to you as well.
Emelia 💞🤗
