Changing meds

Hi. I battled MDD & acute anxiety nearly all of my adult life. I've been on numerous different SSRIs, SRNIs, antipsychotics, tried rTMS & ECT. Am addicted to a benzo for my anxiety.

I am in the process of swapping out from a SRNI to a MAOI and the wash out period is hell. I really don't think I'm going to make it. This is the darkest place I have ever been.
I have no family support, honestly no friends, not able to work & are completely isolated.

i don't feel my medical team actually care much anymore, they are overwhelmed by new clients because of covid.

i hardly sleep, but the last thing in my mind before I do, is how much I want to die. It's the first thought of the day when I wake up.

what if this new medication doesn't work either??

You haven’t upset me at all @WIP . Please don’t think that you have.

I just got caught up watching the Rugby with a couple of others here and then my phone was flat along with the notifications not working.

I’m glad your sister called and that there was a sparkle in your day.

I can’t share the YouTube because I don’t know if anyone on the forums would be seeing the same pdoc. I’m not in a city so you never know.

Law and Order SVU - American tv crime/cop series that has been going for over 20 years @Eve7

Repeats are always on Foxtel, but they are showing season 21 on Ch 10 at some late hour, so I recorded it.

I like the characters.

I enjoy crime shows/movies - haven't been able to get into any British ones though.

Do you get time to watch much tv?

Thanks for taking the time to tap me a note @NatureLover I know how much you've got going on.

I'm slightly better today. Made it out of bed at least.
Overthink two medical spots I have this week - psychologist 2mrw & psychiatrist on Wed. Last visit he instructed me to reduce my anti- anxiety meds & I haven't done a very good job of it. So I'm going to get a lecture and told off... I need to just forget about it till Wednesday, as I know it's going to happen. *sigh*
I just overthink everything. Need to practise my mindfulness.
