Changing meds

Hi. I battled MDD & acute anxiety nearly all of my adult life. I've been on numerous different SSRIs, SRNIs, antipsychotics, tried rTMS & ECT. Am addicted to a benzo for my anxiety.

I am in the process of swapping out from a SRNI to a MAOI and the wash out period is hell. I really don't think I'm going to make it. This is the darkest place I have ever been.
I have no family support, honestly no friends, not able to work & are completely isolated.

i don't feel my medical team actually care much anymore, they are overwhelmed by new clients because of covid.

i hardly sleep, but the last thing in my mind before I do, is how much I want to die. It's the first thought of the day when I wake up.

what if this new medication doesn't work either??

Did you watch the footy? How did you and your Dad's team go, or are they yet to play? How's little Levi?

Couple of wins with projects at work so happy about that but plenty to do to get them over the line. I'll be working from home Monday and then the office for the remainder of the week. My boy is also so so sadly. Other than that it's very wet so an indoor weekend I would say. Maybe I'll venture out for some slippers 😃

Congrats on the wins at work @Anastasia Well Done you!!

Sorry to hear your boy is struggling a bit too. It's so hard when your days/moods are unpredictable. I'm back to not sleeping well again, and woke this morning feeling quite nauseous.

Carlton played Thursday night, they lost, but put in a solid effort. So glad the footy is back.

Oh that's not good so sorry to hear @WIP ,

Is it nausea from lack of sleep? Perhaps some toast and a cup of herbal tea might help? I'm still in bed although I'm wide awake so should probably get up and eat something. We had Thai last night but tummys hungry again 😃

Shame about Carlton but good they tried their hardest. I'm glad it's back for you too. It really is the little things that lift out spirits isn't it?
