Changing meds

Changing meds

Hi. I battled MDD & acute anxiety nearly all of my adult life. I've been on numerous different SSRIs, SRNIs, antipsychotics, tried rTMS & ECT. Am addicted to a benzo for my anxiety.

I am in the process of swapping out from a SRNI to a MAOI and the wash out period is hell. I really don't think I'm going to make it. This is the darkest place I have ever been.
I have no family support, honestly no friends, not able to work & are completely isolated.

i don't feel my medical team actually care much anymore, they are overwhelmed by new clients because of covid.

i hardly sleep, but the last thing in my mind before I do, is how much I want to die. It's the first thought of the day when I wake up.

what if this new medication doesn't work either??

Oh L I'm so sorry, you don't have a choice to have mi or not. It happens to the best of us and unexpectedly too. Just creeps up and rears its ugly head. Not fair. Again I'm truly sorry. I wish I could look after Levi, my boys would love that.

A list of questions is a great idea so you remember everything. If you are like me it leaves as soon as you walk in.

I'm not surprised you are scared, I'm scared for you but I'm more scared of losing you so I do feel that whatever helps is necessary, do you agree?

So much to carry @WIP but me and all your forum family are here to help carry you when it's hard to do so yourself.

Love you lots 🤗🙏💕

I'm so scared and upset, it's uncontrollable like the night I went to the ER.

I just can't do this anymore. It's not living, I just exist as a miserable, tearful person.

I just don't feel cared for by tilhis pdoc, I don't trust him, and he's going to make it harder for me.

it was so traumatic last time.
I don't like him & he doesn't like me.

Its just not going to work. I'd rather just not be here @Bow @outlander @Anastasia
