Changing meds

Hi. I battled MDD & acute anxiety nearly all of my adult life. I've been on numerous different SSRIs, SRNIs, antipsychotics, tried rTMS & ECT. Am addicted to a benzo for my anxiety.

I am in the process of swapping out from a SRNI to a MAOI and the wash out period is hell. I really don't think I'm going to make it. This is the darkest place I have ever been.
I have no family support, honestly no friends, not able to work & are completely isolated.

i don't feel my medical team actually care much anymore, they are overwhelmed by new clients because of covid.

i hardly sleep, but the last thing in my mind before I do, is how much I want to die. It's the first thought of the day when I wake up.

what if this new medication doesn't work either??

Her health must be a constant concern for you. Yes I knew about your issues with the tradie, but was not aware it was a problem with the shower.

Yes washed my hair in the laundry with a small plastic dish to add warm water. Feel better for it now.

Come with me @WIP to see the tiger show. The tigers 🐅 look so docile and peaceful. I don’t really like animals doing tricks but I like the research they do to keep up the population.

We’re going to see the next Bluey show. Right now come with us to Wiggles world.

Oh, thank you @Eve7 I'd love to join you, how thoughtful of you.

i love seeing tigers - not like you though, as long as what is done for them is for research.

I saw them in Thailand many years ago, and thought it was wonderful I could have my photo taken with me giving a tiger some milk. Back then I didn't think too much into how they were treated. I adored them then and still do.

Bring on Bluey after the wiggles.

I remember spending the day with the "baby" tigers in Thailand back in the day. When we were confronted with them they were HUGE! Very scary experience!

I've read your post over and over - thank you! You wrote so beautifully and from the heart. You make me feel worthy.

Just been chatting with mum on the phone -'it's difficult for her, stuck in the middle of me and my sister.

But, I will do as you suggested & Mum seconded....fight for my nephew. I love him so much & atm I know he does me. I MUST keep up

communicationnwith him -'around his mother if she's not obliging. So, I'm going to buy a bunch of greeting cards and send one a fortnight, just to touch base. Hopefully he'll write back?!
