Today is 9 weeks and 1 day without alcohol. So I'm learning to take it 'one day at a time'.
Woo-hoooo ❣. Well done @utopia !! Keep those baby steps going !! 🎉
Hi @supportneeded @Mozoman @Denise
From someone who has spent a lot of time alone, even with others around but not actively engaged for various reasons, I can tell you structured activity is your best friend under these circumstances .... and don't let self-pity convince you otherwise .... because it will probably try ....
Write yourself a daily structure of tidying up, self-care, taking a walk, investing in a hobby, or jigsaw puzzle, or adult colouring in, or crosswords, or something !! Don't be rigid enough about it that you can't ditch it at a moments notice if opportunity comes knocking, but let social company find you as an active, interested, and interesting person when it does ....
Stay connected via the Internet with some current affairs, talk to us ❣😏, look up interesting places, arty or scientific-type things, a bit of history or travel ideas, etc ...
Life changes. It doesn't stay the same. This is your time and place at the moment, and changes often occur in increments rather than dramatically and suddenly. Just fill the time actively and positively while you are in this current bubble ....

Glad you found us ..... 😊
