Hello @Former-Member
I think it is good that you can distinguish between helpful and unhepful situations. Legally I think you can see any doctor, but I am not sure if you are under 18. When I left home at 16 I went to the doctor a few times and it was ok. Try and develop your own relationship with a treating team ... and that means they need to be treating you reasonably. Also try new psychologist or psychiatrist.
If home is hostile try and figure out your own living arrangements, through social services.
I hear that your family and you are both under stress and that you dont blame them.
Most people trust doctors and it takes experience to be able to distinguish between those who are helpful and those who are not ... THIS IS GOOD ... in that you are learning the people skills necessary to make it in life. Not every professional suits every client .. eg different horses are better on different courses ... be determined to get the help you need keep reaching out.
I think it is WISE to sort out your medications and therapy ... meds on their own wont really help ... it is the psychotherapy that helps. maybe when you can sort out your own head and feelings who can then turn your attention more onto the family issues.
Also in many families ... there can be one person that carries the dysfuntional aspects of the family ... like one person may become class clown ... the best way through ... is to work on your own capability and humour ... we all have strengths and weaknesses ... even those who appear to have it all or be always laughing.

How brave and strong you are to ask for help. I have great admiration for you as I lived with anxiety for a long time until finding the right group of people, a team, who were able to sort out my particular needs. We all l need to be treated with kindness and respect everyday no matter what our problems are. ❤️

That's so tough @Former-Member
My son was often homeless - and not because he didn't have a good home - he wasn't happy anywhere and it was his choice
I think you are wise to keep away from toxic environments - being homeless is really the pits with no where to turn -
Do you have a roof over your head tonight? Have you found a shelter?
I didn't realise you were so young - and in such a terrible place

Hi PiP
Thank you for your comments and faith in lifeline. Your overall situation is pretty horrid. I fully understand about homelessness services and the options are not great. At least some can offer emergency accomodation funded for up to 4 weeks. If you are able to get your treatment sorted out properly this will at least help. Sometimes the PDocs simply just keep on adding and increasing meds in line with 'everyman' protocols, not exactly individualised medicines. The total deight is we experince hope briefly and don't self advocate. What fun to discontinue and/or titrate down on your own. Then there is always the frear about relapses and repercussions.
During acute I had another tricky med started, after 2 months experienced a litttle spot of hypo - wow I was not a very pleasant person to be with. Be careful who you listen too - the GP wanted to add another the PDoc wanted bloods done! Take your pick, yippee. I am going with the titration down, completely over the super zombie and feeling so sick.
My very best to you

Hi @Former-Member
I am glad at least that you have a roof over your head tonight - and it is better to look for help from a safer place than loose on the street
That can be very dangerous - I have no idea how my son coped with life like that - living rough is worse than tough - and worse for a young woman than a young man
But I do understand the situation you are living in - I could not leave home until I was married and life there was not good - I spent my nights at home but during the day I was out at work or nightshool - so I do know what it is like to be trapped in a situation which might seem okay to other people who don't understand the stiuation
Be true to yourself - you need help and I hope that somehow you can find it

Re: Please help
Don't want any platitudes just not sure if I will get a break. I have to stay right away from mum. I was wrong to go to her, but was experiencing depersonalisation, feeling floaty and serve anxiety as a side effect. I was wrong to take myself of medication cold turkey, nobody around me seemed to understand how tired I am with feeling the way I did with nothing working. The hospital know everything. No job, no immediate family, no car, no health. Does anyone understand why I'm so sick of this. Will it get better? How do others get through of this system letting them down?

Hi @Former-Member
You will not get any platitudes from me - I can hear what a terrible place you are in right now - and how I wish I could help
Shame on your mother - I had a troubled son - as you know - and although there were times when I burned out and needed him to stay away for a short time - I did not abandon him - I often found him accommodation - I went more than the extra mile - and yes - I was often ill -
You need a roof over your head at this time of year - so I am suggesting you stay where you are and keep a low profile - I had a mother who was more concerned with her own feelings than mine - and even the death of my son was too much for her - she was not well either but I find it no excuse to be so brutal
On your behalf - I am angry - of course I don't know the history - and I think myself you are one of those people who quickly find themself in the too-hard basket - I have been there myself at times
Interesting question - where are you supposed to go if your mother kicks you out?
But don't lets her - stay under the roof and have food that has to be there - and keep out of her way
And keep in touch
