Something’s not right

Darkness

Darkness

Well it's been a hellish few weeks, I have fallen into the rabbit hole and there seems no escape this time. The darkness has come and it thicker than the fires of hell.

Things just don't seem to going right at all and my MH is just getting worse and worse. Not sleeping (afraid to sleep) not eating and not taking my meds. I know this doesn't help but why bother because when I am on them I either feel zone out or that they do nothing anyways. I didn't make it work today, got to the front and was physically sick and froze again. Crawled back into bed where I stayed untill I had an unexpected call.

My 3 main MH professional and I in a conference call, at the end of the call I was given a choice be sectioned or have my ex move back in temporarily to provide around the clock monitoring, this means for at least two weeks of him being here making sure I eat, take my meds and be present for all appointments and no SH. I am not happy about either option but because of teenager trauma in a MH hospital I am taking the ex.

I will not be as active as normal but I will check in. but like tonight, I may just support posts as I am struggling to even type this. So @Snowie @eth @Lee82 @Eden1919 @Purplerain @Lotusgirl amd anyone I missed I will be getting the care I need and will be safe. To some of the newest forum members please forgive me if it takes a bit for me to get back to you.

Re: Darkness

The day after her hip replacement @Lee82 She slipped getting out of bed. They didn't even do an x-ray in the hospital - it was only picked up a week later when she was still in so much pain and an x-ray was ordered by her doctor.

Re: Darkness

Oh geez I can't believe they didn't X-ray it for her whilst she was still in hospital. That's terrible.

Re: Darkness

We are pretty angry about it too @Lee82 but there is no point in looking back - just need to help her heal by doing whatever we cn to help.

Re: Darkness

Did you place a complaint at the hospital? I see that as negligent.

Re: Darkness

I think Mum and Dad did but it doesn't matter @Lee82 what matters is we know now and can support her moving forward. It won't change anything for Mum so we have to do what we can to help you out so she can rest and heal.

Re: Darkness

I suppose that's true hun. Nothing will change for your mum. It's just wonderful she has 2 beautiful daughters to help look after her.

Re: Darkness

My sister has done a lot for her and Dad since she got out of hospital @Lee82 - she only lives a small distance away (and works 4 days a week) so has been able to be there. Now I am on holidays I can do more too.

Re: Darkness

That's so lovely to hear hun. Just please make sure you also look after your own needs too and have time to take care of you. @Zoe7 You will be no good to Your Mum if you burn out

Re: Darkness

No worries there @Lee82 If I can't do something I say so. It is also a longer drive for me so not expected I will be available or able to do everything. The next couple of days I am relaxiing and spending time with my fur babies then will visit on Wednesday if I can.
