Something’s not right

Darkness

Darkness

Well it's been a hellish few weeks, I have fallen into the rabbit hole and there seems no escape this time. The darkness has come and it thicker than the fires of hell.

Things just don't seem to going right at all and my MH is just getting worse and worse. Not sleeping (afraid to sleep) not eating and not taking my meds. I know this doesn't help but why bother because when I am on them I either feel zone out or that they do nothing anyways. I didn't make it work today, got to the front and was physically sick and froze again. Crawled back into bed where I stayed untill I had an unexpected call.

My 3 main MH professional and I in a conference call, at the end of the call I was given a choice be sectioned or have my ex move back in temporarily to provide around the clock monitoring, this means for at least two weeks of him being here making sure I eat, take my meds and be present for all appointments and no SH. I am not happy about either option but because of teenager trauma in a MH hospital I am taking the ex.

I will not be as active as normal but I will check in. but like tonight, I may just support posts as I am struggling to even type this. So @Snowie @eth @Lee82 @Eden1919 @Purplerain @Lotusgirl amd anyone I missed I will be getting the care I need and will be safe. To some of the newest forum members please forgive me if it takes a bit for me to get back to you.

Re: Darkness

All good @outlander how did you go with the GP? It's ok if you don't feel like talking about it.

Re: Darkness

are you feeling a little better? @Lee82 I know how awful flashbacks can be. hope you don't mind me tagging you here instead as I realise the other threads abit busy atm.

I mostly just had to get the referral, I called to make an appointment with the gastroenterologist earlier but they needed some details from the referral so put a halt to it, I can get in either next week or the week after (providing it has been booked up since this morning) but I have the referral now. it wasn't an appt so he didn't ask how I was but I mentioned the costs and he said that I shouldn't worry about it because he most likely wont want to run tests anyway. very frustrating. I have to be prepared for it theres no way I can just cough up that kind of money.
ill start with the appt to see what he says and go from there though.
the bank never called me back either so abit frustrated with that.

Re: Darkness

Hopefully you can see the gastroenterologist soon hun. I hear you about being financially prepared for whatever needs to happen after this appointment but I don't think that if there is an issue that they are just going to not do anything about it because you can't pay for it. I'm sure they will have ways around that even it's a payment plan. But you are right in just for now thinking about your very next step which is the appointment and then take it from there.
im feeling very exhausted now and a little light headed plus I have a big headache.
Thank you for the distraction it helped to calm the attack down a little. I still had it but it wasn't as severe or lasted as long as it usually does. So thank you @outlander ❤️
No problem with using this thread at all. 👍

Re: Darkness

thanks @Lee82 but since ive been declined for the loan its made things really hard. the bank did call and they told me the reason why at least. they suggested wait 3 months and then try again.
I don't know, the gp has me confused he tells me that its unlikely ill need one but hes put on the actual referral that he would like me to have one if possible. its so confusing. so im looking at some big fees unless he will do it through the public system but its unlikely. I have to pay up front first before any rebates happen.

im really not surprised your exhausted and have a headache. flashbacks are very draining and take a lot out of us. im really glad the distraction helped abit, that's really good to hear. hopefully your headache eases soon

Re: Darkness

Geez I'm so sorry @outlander financial pressure is the last thing you need to be dealing with on top of everything else. Perhaps if he can't do it through the public system he can refer you to someone who can. My mum has had several major operations when I was growing up and it was always done through the public system even after seeing private specialists. Not sure if your case would be the same but thought I would mention that anyway.

ive taken some paracetamol so hopefully that helps.

Re: Darkness

I really hope so @Lee82 ive enquired with a few but all have given me the same answer so far with that everything has to be paid up front before its rebated (if it gets rebated that is or some of it)
its made me really quite stressed now.

I hope the pain relief helps abit. have you got much else on tonight?
