Something’s not right

Darkness

Darkness

Well it's been a hellish few weeks, I have fallen into the rabbit hole and there seems no escape this time. The darkness has come and it thicker than the fires of hell.

Things just don't seem to going right at all and my MH is just getting worse and worse. Not sleeping (afraid to sleep) not eating and not taking my meds. I know this doesn't help but why bother because when I am on them I either feel zone out or that they do nothing anyways. I didn't make it work today, got to the front and was physically sick and froze again. Crawled back into bed where I stayed untill I had an unexpected call.

My 3 main MH professional and I in a conference call, at the end of the call I was given a choice be sectioned or have my ex move back in temporarily to provide around the clock monitoring, this means for at least two weeks of him being here making sure I eat, take my meds and be present for all appointments and no SH. I am not happy about either option but because of teenager trauma in a MH hospital I am taking the ex.

I will not be as active as normal but I will check in. but like tonight, I may just support posts as I am struggling to even type this. So @Snowie @eth @Lee82 @Eden1919 @Purplerain @Lotusgirl amd anyone I missed I will be getting the care I need and will be safe. To some of the newest forum members please forgive me if it takes a bit for me to get back to you.

Re: Darkness

HI @Lee82

I want to step in here and encourage some self care this evening. I've can see that there's some real worry and distress going on in a number of your posts and if you do need to take a step away from the forums to focus on you please make sure you do what you need. I can undestand that not hearing from another member right away might leave you worried but for now I want to encourage you to really bring yourself back to what you need tonight and what things might be most helpful for you to be okay.

Ochre

Re: Darkness

I understand what you are saying @Former-Member .

im sorry for expressing my worry, concerns and feelings on the forum but I have no one else in my life that I can turn to beside my friends here on the forum. However I will step away as I seem to not be able to write the right things lately on the forum.
thank you for your concern.

Re: Darkness

@Lee82 I hear and acknowledge your concerns here but also would like tooffer some advice. We do get really close to others on here and we do care deeply for those we are close to but it should never be the whole meaning in our day when we have that contact. You are the primary concern and it has to be you that you concentrate on first. We also cannot know fully what is going on for anyone else on here and although it may be distressing at times not hearing from them for some time it is also good self care sometimes for us to step away from the forum.I certainly have done that many times and reconnected when I have been able to. Izzy may be doing the same and whilst we can post our concerns, care and love for those 'missing' we should not pressure for or expect a response until they are ready. Our feelings our our own to sit with and those not here will return when they are able to - in the meantime you have support here from many others if needed and/or accepted.

Hey @Lee82, I'm taking over for Ochre tonight. I just wanted to say, I don't think they were asking you to refrain from expressing yourself - far from it. Because that's part of what the forums are here for, providing a space where you can express your worries and concerns. When we mods jump in, most often it's not to say "you shouldn't be saying these things, you need to toe the line better" it's to say "Hey, we hear you, we care about you, please take care of yourself and if you're struggling, you can reach out to us." I think Ochre just wanted to encourage you to listen to your own needs right now. There's no right or wrong thing to say on the forum (within the guidelines of course), and I hope you can feel comfortable continuing to express yourself here

Re: Darkness

Thank you @Zoe7 and @Jynx. I am sorry for expressing my concern that way and will refrain from doing it again. Was just looking for some comfort and support and obviously to know Izzy is ok.

Re: Darkness

You have our support @Lee82 ...always I do know you find comfort in interacting with Izzy but often putting all our eggs in one basket can lead to further pain for ourselves. It is always good tohave a team around us in all things we do in life -that way we can share the care as well as the support for each other - and that is never more the case than here on the forum. I too have one very close friend here but also a team of those around me I am also very close to ...as do they. Together we support each other and if one is not here to provide that or is struggling themselves then others step in - it makes it much easier for everyone to be able to care for others as well as themselves ...and a balance between both of those things is important for all of us. That does not mean you have to stop or withdraw in any way from who you are closest too but allowing others in, allowing others to support you and allowing yourself to receive that support is infact personal growth - something we all want/need especially when the darker times comeand we ourselves are struggling.

Sending you much love and letting you know we are here for you
