Oh dear, not you too @Decadian - the after Christmas 'slump' - be kind to yourself, at least we're not alone 🙂
I too plan to keep my living area this tidy. I use to tidy things before going yo bed each night (kids toys and stuff), must resurrect that trend, and maybe put things away as I finish with them. Let's check in on each other on this. My sad use to have a writing desk that closed in all his papers - so cool!

I had to save that one - perfect for so many wonky days

atm - Snugly - not her real name - is shedding - I have cat dander all around the carpet - when I brush her I get enough fluff to stuff a small pillow and that's just in one day - wow

So I have not asked her if she has had a bad fluff day - but I have bad carpet days - I guess whoever comes to clean will have a bad vacuum day - mine can't be the only cat shedding

I'll have to look up some quotes - that is a good idea but right now

I have a nice little desk I would like to use but I have my TV on - so I want to get an entertainment table for the TV and the DVD and DVR and all the DVDs etc - I am trying to rearrange some of the stuff in my head

And I have my piano keyboard on the table in the dining room and I need to get a stand for that and get rid of the table and make more space in the other front room

Buying furniture is something I could put off forever - maybe dd with help me out with that after gd has settled into her flat. I could put of spending money forever -

I have a lot of paper in a big file - I find if I leave most paper around in a pile it becomes redundant quickly

Wow - the paper that comes into the house - was this always the case - I think the phone bill used to be one small piece of paper and now I get several pages

I am determined to keep this room tidy now though - it makes a big difference
