QUOTES THAT SETTLE MY MIND

QUOTES THAT SETTLE MY MIND

A TIME FOR EVERYTHING
There is a time for everything, and a
season for every activity under the sun.
A time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time for decay and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones, a time to gather,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Yes - that is my belief - how many peaceful hours have I spent enjoying my long drives through Victoria and Tasmania

When does Old Age start?

It is a feeling of the body, not the heart?

Myself I feel I still have much to grow -

And in that time - I still have far to go.

I often ask the same question, "WHEN IS A PERSON OLD?" It is a matter of the heart, and how far away we've moved from our 'childlike' state.. But in practical terms, I have observed that old people spend a lot of time alone andcthus in their own heads. Good memories also make for wonderful conversations and stories for the children.

Trust in the Lord your God with all your heart and lean NOT on your own understanding.

Re: QUOTES THAT SETTLE MY MIND

Agreed .... !🌷

It helps to puddle around with things a bit, I think, but then wait for "illumination" ..,,, It's a word I hear often in European circles as a translation into English ...,. I think it means a cross between awareness and understanding enlightening the mind, in a sense of it's own accord .....

We would probably use a euphemism like "waiting for the penny to drop".

Interesting ......

"There should be less talk;
a preaching point
is not a meeting point.
What do you do then?
Take a broom and
clean someone's house.
That says enough."

A tribute to Mother Teresa
Today she was canonised,
made a 'Saint' in the Roman
