Hi Dimity, it's 4.15am and I've been awake since 1am. Occasionally I do get a bad night.

Just gave up on sleep and got up and made a hot Milo.

I didn't catch any sun yesterday - there wasn't much around when I went out.

Today I have errands. The house is neat except for that one box weighing on my mind. Maybe I'll feel up to broaching it.

I had several scans today for different things. I wasted the rest of the day. Well I guess my time on the forums wasn't really wasted.

I'm dreading the next few days. Dreading things in general.

Good luck with your box. And if you can do that, you might be able to get one or two more from the bottomless shed. I'm fed up with seeing my piles and boxes of stuff... once I'm past the present problems I should be able to get back to them.

I understand the feeling of being sick of seeing piles and boxes of stuff. That's why I really like the bottomless shed, even though it's a horror to face.

I didn't get up for a dawn walk today. Am still in bed. Got afternoon coffee with a friend. Should get up and do stuff. "Should" is a horrible word.

I think I might be losing some of my ability to socialise, as I'm not going to a large office or dealing with the public face to face any more. Have been completely drained after just 2 hours the last few socialising sessions. I'm also having more trouble leaving the house.

@NatureLover perhaps we have a social muscle that needs exercise... mine fell into disuse years ago, if I ever had one. But I feel very lonely not speaking to people.

Yes, I'm waiting for my friend to finish treatment for an ongoing illness, and then we will visit the small office together to see about maybe volunteering there together.

Ophthalmologist today. Am dreading it (I'm very sensitive about my eyes being touched, to the point where he can't perform all the required tests).

Had a bad day yesterday. Admin problems with counsellor and super fund. Hope your ophthalmology appt went OK.

Feeling defeated and unwell. Constant worry re sister. I know I should move on from things I have no control over. I need to face the day and do what I can eg accepting responsibility for house.
