Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

feeling the side effects of my meds - dry mouth even after drinking water and chewing sugarless gum, blurred vision and tremors so shaking, and dizziness so I shouldn't get up too quickly and walk around but I do, just got up to go the toilet and get some water and nearly fell over. this is all normal though and nothing to worry about my psychiatrist said, just needs to be watched, it's common and not that bad.

It's funny that these meds are suppose to make us feel better but they make us feel crap. Lol

Yeah I agree. Don't know if they've helped me mentally but even if they have it's hard to deal with the side effects. My Dad thinks they've helped a bit mentally but I don't know, I just try to hide it most days, it's hard to explain and a difficult situation for me. I guess I'll be ok and speak to my Psychiatrist about it. Feeling a bit sick too

So I got home and showered and I fell asleep in the towel . It's 04:26 and I have been sleeping since 23:00 .. yay!!!
