Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

Learning at home is not easy @Lee82 and it is great you have some help from your Mum.

I have a heat pack on my back already - the first thing I did when I got home. Won't be moving far tonight - definitely a couch evening.

Hey there . Yhe it's not ideal at the moment. I always have to explain why i want a snack and why I do this or that . I need to make this move for my own mental well being. Let's see

I need to tell someone what happened but I don't want to break community guidelines. So I have this pressure building at the moment

@Pollyotter I'm sorry, I'm struggling but I guess I'll be ok. I try not to vent and keep things to myself so I'm not a burden to anybody.

Nice to meet (well chat) to you by the way. I'm on the Lived Experience forums too (you can use both) but thought I'd come here aswell
