Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

Not really @Pollyotter I am struggling to contain a panic attack right now. I can feel it building in my chest. I am just trying to stay focused on talking to everything here.

I was in Hospital today for 4 hours so that was interesting. I am at home now just relaxing

It's been a day filled with triggers. My ex dropped off my kids earlier and seeing him triggers me greatly.

I am so sorry Lee. Are you grounding? Do you have a plan for yourself for tonight? Remember to breath as well . I tend to hold my breath if things like that happen. I hope you don't do the same
