Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

Today was not a great day for me @Pollyotter I spent it all day under a blanket hiding from the world. Just needed to feel safe and comforted.

Lol...they can do some strange things. I can swear that Boris talks in his sleep. He make the strangest noises.

It is good you have Wormy then to snuggle into @Pollyotter It is not the same as a real, live human but still something. Tobes is certainly going to get extra snuggles tonight - whether he likes it or not lol

So cute. @Zoe7 Can imagine those noises would be comforting. I always have to fall asleep with some sort of noise in the background as well as some sort of light. Silence and darkness freaks me out.

So victory was short lived in the battle of sleep vs me . I won unfortunately and I am tweaking like a Adict comming off a bad high. I actually spoke to my therapist ( who is awake at freakinf 3 am) she says that my mind is going through alot at the moment because of the processing done in the day .

Treatment plan. Lee I can't sleep if it's too dark or Quiet. So I have a tv on in the background. It sometimes helps with flash backs and when I wake up after a night terror.

Off I go to have a game with Deadpool . The game is fun and the script is funny so it helps.

Anywho guys hope your both ok tonight
