Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

Yhe that doesn't make sence to me @Zoe7. But you keep safe today too please. Remember to look after yourself aswell not just the kids

Hey @Pollyotter I finally got some sleep last night but have been sent home today because I was not well still. Managed some more sleep but will definitely have to sleep earlier tonight if I can because I am on class tomorrow for the kids first day back. Taking it very easy this afternoon - going to spend the rest of the day on the couch with Toby in fornt of the tv.

I am sorry your still feeling ill. I hope with thee early nights rest and Toby cuddles you will feel better soon. I hope that tomorrow you wake up and the day is good and your health meets you well.

I am sorry for my lack of attention the past few posts. I havent been sleeping well and well my attentionspan suffers with that. I collapsed ( i think that is right) today at work. One moment i am cleaning and the next I wake up with an oxygen mask onn my mug and some odd dude talking to me. But i am home now and I hope that tonight is a new night for us both

I am in my room trying to stay present as much as I can and calm my anxiety down. I think I am in for a long night once again. What about you @Pollyotter ? What you up to?
