Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

In glad you too some time.
And wow you have been busy indeed. It's going to be so nice after you have cleaned and moved all the furniture back to where it was and you sit down for the first time and go phew! I am done .

I'm glad I stayed too. I almost left because of being so nervous. Took my first tablet today and I do feel abit dizzy so I am taking it slow. Atleast its not making me feel sick . Bonus!

Yhe... Such a rookie move . I stepped off the ladder and missed not one but two steps yes two. Swang out and hit my shoulder on the corner of the door .

I stoped at my local Big W and they didn't have a worm... I want a worm hahaha so they will order if for me yay.

Hope you get enough done so you can have the weekend to relax

Oh ladder accidents @Pollyotter - had a few of them myself in the past. I hope your shoulder heals really quickly.

Taking it easy with the new med sounds like a wise idea. If that is the only side effect and it isn't making your feel sick then that is a huge bonus.

Hopefully Big W get your worm in quickly and you can add it to your cave.

Getting things finished off slowly but should have the painting done tonight.

Thanks so much . I have some kind of fluffy blanket that is super soft and comfortable. I love it I walk around in it ever were I can .

Yhe let's see what tomorrow brings with the meds.

You should also take it easy .not to over do it.

Tobes is good - he is still supervising and moving around the room as I do @Pollyotter

I have most of it done - just the long wall to do and the doorway so should have that done tonight. Some areas will need a second coat so they will have to be done tomorrow.

I also sanded the small table and ground off the little bits of metal sticking out - I removed some of the metal struts a while ago to fit some things in better but never smoothed them out - so that is finally done too. I'll stain an varnish it tomorrow.

I want to say that when your done we should have a beer to celebrate but I don't know if your up for that .
I would love ot renovate a place of my own one day . Sounds like fun.

I am under the fluffy blanket and I feel good here. Thinking about next week Thursday kind of freaked but I feel better too.

Mhe anyway . I am palying Deadpool on the Playstation. It's a fun game and takes my mind off of alot too. I am greatful indeed

It sounds like you have your safe place in your cave and are doing better @Pollyotter That is really great to hear.

I don't drink - the occasional one every 6 months or so but definitely not beer.

It is a big job renovating and nothing is square or straight in my house so have to find ways to level things up as much as I can. It is an old house but it is mine and i love it here.
