Numb again

I have tried contacting online support but everything is unavailable or offline .

I was raped 7 years ago and things happen so I made myself numb and supprised everything. I learned about the breathing techniques as well as the 5,4,3,2,1 tool. Tonight it's not working . I am having flash backs like crazy and I can't get my mind and body to calm down to relax and sleep . At this stage I am in for a night of night terrors and I can't do that again tonight. I am shutting down again but not sure how to stop it .

Breaks my heart to hear that. A home is supposed to be a save haven from the outside world. I always have my door open for my friends and persons who come with a good heart. I wish I could come and snatch you up and bring you here

Im sorry @Pollyotter @Lee82 I should not have said that. Just that I have managed to trigger myself after trying to write a post to my thread earlier. When you said Id always be safe in your home .. well, it sounded so good. Yes our home should be our safe haven, but unfortunately for me, its where my traumas have been committed against me. My home never feels safe to me.

Oh @Former-Member I am so sorry that you house doesn't feel like it's a safe place sweets. That must be real rough to deal with. Same as my bedroom for me. That is not my safe place so I don't really go in there except to grab some clothes. I have slept on my couch for the past 2 years.
@Pollyotter how you holding up?
