Re Googling. You could goggle Gold coast hotels and heaps of sites come up eg Trivago, Booking.com etc... if you click on any of the sites, heaps of hotels come up, different prices. Or you could choose a place you might know eg Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise and the booking sites come up.
Prices change often, good to look regularly.
I found a hotel today - half price. 😀

When/if googling hotels, if it doesn't say "free parking", they often charge approx $20 a night for parking 😮 Adds up, then it's not so cheap. 💕

My mum was slowly recovering @Former-Member, but now she has a "Tropical Bug" of some kind
and Hubby is taking himself off the meds , having restless nights and today he was flustered all day , so he does not know how he is going to go stopping the meds

Routine can be good re family/memory sorry not sure if replied before. Had a bit on. Stood on footpath looking at wooliesfrom chemist across road for 30 seconds and decided No re coffee machine and nutri thingo may change mind tomorrow . Oh got job.

There was a walk in Bendigo I considered, but was recovering from our BIG WEEK. It really would have been asking too much, so I focus more on the living, as the dead did take a large chunk out of my life, there will be other times .. and maybe I can mourn properly one day with real family ..
I do different things but dont push it.
The good news is that I posted on facebook and some family including my estranged sister asked me to friend them. No direct contact made with her, though I have spoken on msn with the others ...but that is HUGE she has been blocking me for over 25 years .. maybe she is finally growing up... she was 14 when other sis died.
Its just good if meaningful posts and links are put up without stress ... and let things unfold gently.
My daughters unfriended me .. but I know how the feelings run and why they run that way. .. I noticed it, was sad, but did not expect more yet from them.
At least a work colleague brother sister uncle nephew and 2 cousins included me. That is enough for now.
@TAB I havent got the coffee machine either
.. would stop me from enjoying going out for the odd coffee!
