@TAB, don't think I could go through the hassel of allergy desensitising re cats, but my son (information sponge like his dad) read that theirs certain species of cat that are much lower in allergy reactions. Bit like poodles can be it seems. Besides, the neighbours cats adopt me, outside of cause, now the dog is getting old & can't see them half the time haha. But I don't know. Why don't you get another cat Mr?

I know @TAB, nighty night, ya did good! Oh, have to tell you I use to live at Mswlbrk couple decades ago, know what you mean. There's so many mines out that way now I'm told. Still pretty country. If y like, remind me and i'll post pic i took of of the Putty Rd half way house, well, what's left of it after the fire. Its still quite a sight with that giant tin man out front. Miss stopping there for coffee. Not sure when he went up but don't think he's always been there. Hope someone rebuilds the place, but it us very remote.
@Appleblossom, still waiting for your 'pic mojo' to come through, bet its funny. I can relate to your 'hiding behind roles' I was 'the nurse' 'the big sister' 'the queens guide' 'the pianist' 'the gospel singer' 'the mum' - and now its all changed - still trying to work out to what but maybe soon. Gardener sure would be a wholesome way to go - look fwd to resurrecting the old garden thread - thank you.

Hi @Former-Member I stayed at Denman for a month before moved to old caravan park no longer there at Muswellbrook. Used to drive to workshop through the clouds re dips in road once it cooled down was amazing .. thoughts of King Arthur walking on clouds lol
Also used to take work ute back way from Muswellbrook to Mt Thorley for months through race horse winery country , stop at Jerrys Plains for bkfst,eat on the way.
Jerrys Plains was on Win News recently cos they have roadside library booths, borrow books on honour system. Used to go to Medowie on wknds to see brother

Denmen, Muswellbrook, Mt Thorley, and Scone iz the 'race horse' capital out that way I think, and little Aberdeen - use to picnic by the river under the bridge there. Jerrys Plains (my favourite wine country) - good re roadside library booths, a 'trust' system. Love it! Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
