@Former-Member Your S1 sounds like my S1 .... and perfectly normal for his age ....
They block messages when they're busy in that moment, which could be anything .... watching something engaging .... eating .... talking to a mate .... shopping .....
Then there's an "Oh yeah ... mum called ...." moment somewhere within the next 24 hours or so .... then an "When am I gonna be free to call her .... hmmmm .... from the car phone on my way to work .... ✅👍🏼" .... "Oh no ..l. phone call us taking too long ... why can't she just talk like a boy .... deliver the message .... done, dusted ....would be much easier .... :face_with_rolling_eyes: .... and quicker .... :face_with_rolling_eyes: ...."
You see ? It's not about you at all .... it's Gen Y stuff .... and by that you can see he is "with the Gen Y program .... so it that sense ya did good @Former-Member ..... ❣

@Faith-and-Hope, love that cat pic, what a classic poor little tenderfoot, got a belly laugh out a me, thanks. And ta for tips on our older boys GenY, I'm so lucky to have someone like you to rind me how to cope with them, that its normal and not me. Just more worried now his living alone for the first time ever too. Last chat he referred to it as his 'KINGDOM OF SOLITUDE" which I think has a positive tone to it - 'kingdom' oh, that reminds me, must send 'New Home' card. Cards are one of my things. xox

Oh, couldn't get to dentist, chance tomorrow morning, time constraints now cos have another work medical leaving straight after..
So that means I have a months work, 12hr days poss 1 day off til this time next month .. hang on teeth 😬 Lol

That's a beautiful thought @Faith-and-Hope, brings comfort and healing. Thanks. Really hope ya right. He is a beautiful soul. And handsome and smart. I do hope its someone who has a little room for his mum but mostly be good for him, forever. I to pray for a deep thinker & true believer xox
My ma rang x3 today thinking I'm behind this plot to drag her and dad screaming into a residential care. The latest 'apparently' (and one must he careful with all the lies there), two doctors are coming to do an assessment and she's asked my bro4 to be there to let them in (she doesn't normally talk to bro4). Hohum, just tell her she has a LOT of legal rights and to use all resources available for her but also to start putting things in place for the inevitable (dad can't with dementia). Its just awful, but on the good side ma didn't mention her chest infection once, or cough. Shame its timed after my visit. My conscience is clear.
