Re: Sleeping too much

Thanks, you guys ARE the stronger ones
My batty mar was just cheering "happy Aust day, yay!" clap clap giggle giggle! Sucks!!! Who cares, not their grief I guess (even though they b#tched that first year that I needed to understand that they lost my girl too - I think not so much). I'll never enjoy Aust Day, how can I? Drr, just had to retreat to my room to get over mother's loud flamboyant outburst. You know my family argue with me that my girl didn't die Australia Day because the 'time of passing' was just after midnight 1.5hrs after she fell inconscious in front of me, on the nebuliser, as ambo arrived. That moment and the last free breath she took was Aust Day - how will it ever be 'the 27th to me? its bot both days. Not sure mumdad can see it in me (tears & pain), trying not to show it re too vulnerable around them (unpredictable people). Sheesh! in my room to get away from it & she (ma) sends me a tx wishing me a 'Happy Aust Day' grr - wish the ground would swallow me up. I'd prefer to be alone today & tomorrow, should have left Tues. Sorry, bit down.

I've slowcooked healthy omelette breakfast for mum&dad - can smell its ready - betta wipe away my tears and go serve it

Plz light me another candle.
Thanks for being here xox

Re: Sleeping too much

Have a talk to The Big Man @tawney😀 I hope that settles you. Yeah your mums nuts. You know that. You are helping them by just by being there. And there's such a thing as knowing when to leave. Well for your own sake. Bout the only thing I got right when I went to see parents lol. Can't expect people to grieve how you want them to.
Big hugs, and you've done really well. Hope you have a smile today even if its to yourself. You can can always grieve after you and dog get back home. 😀 Hope your day gets better.

Re: Sleeping too much

@Former-Member. Thinking of you and your girl today.I will light a ccandle for you both. Would you be up for going to church today? Maybe not talking but simply sitting and remembering your little girl.
Or you could go and sit under a tree and just listen tovthe birds and insects and the breeze in the trees.
Sleeping when you need to - works well.
You do whatever you need to do to get through the day as best you can.
We your forum family will be sending you strength and love.
And if you need to talk about your beautiful girl, we are here to listen.

I can only imagine how hard today would be on a day that much of the country celebrates, it seems a cruel twist of fate for you that you are suffering so much this day😢. I'm so sorry for your loss @Former-Member. Take is slow today and cocoon yourself with whatever you can. Here for you too. Sending lots of hugs 💜🤗💐
